"Henrik! I'll have you remember there is a head attached to the hair your are so gently tangling" Elin drawled, though winced when her brother pulled a little too hard on her hair.
The fifteen year old had been insistent on doing his big sister's hair, but he lacked the talent in doing hair and now Elin had to suffer.
"Sorry, sister" Henrik snickered, patting the back of her head.
"Come on Henrik, Elin. Our brothers are fighting again" Rebekah chirped, the blonde rushing over to Elijah and Klaus with Elin and Henrik following after her. The eldest twin stood beside Finn, who threw an arm around her shoulders.
"Henrik do your hair did he?" He smirked, looking over the uneven plaits and the occasional knot.
"He tried his best, lets put it that way" Elin hummed.
"Oh look, our sisters and brother have arrived to watch my fast approaching victory" Elijah spoke, glancing at Klaus with a cocky grin.
"On the contrary, Elijah" Klaus smirked, swinging his sword towards his brother who deflected the blade with his own sword. The male blonde swung around, and cut Elijah's belt in half.
"They have come to laugh at you" Klaus grinned.
"Eli, that was very embarrassing. How can you live with yourself after losing against Nik?" Elin teased, earning a playful glare from her twin while Klaus looked awfully smug and the others laughed in amusement.
"She's right, Eli" Kol smirked cheekily, leaning against Elin who wrapped an arm around his and leaned her head against his shoulder.
"Well done, young warrior. Your fighting skills are getting better" Mikael spoke up proudly, making his presence known.
"Thank you, father" Klaus beamed, a sense of pride filling his chest at the praise.
The father and son then trained together, the others eventually going and doing their own thing. Elin had gone out to the fields with a few pieces of blank cloth, paints that Klaus had made and gifted her, paintbrushes and a jar of clean water.
The girl had spent a few hours painting, but by the five painting she had gone into a daze, not that she knew that. Her hand had a mind of it's own, the brush creating a picture. It took Elin about half an hour to finish the painting, before she unconsciously moved on to another one without even seeing the painting she did.
Once she was finished, the young woman had noticed how dark it had gotten and when she saw the full moon, she quickly made her way back to the village. Coming into view, she saw people leaving their huts and making their way towards the caves.
"Elin, there you are. You do remember there is a full moon?" Mikael stated sternly, making her give him a sheepish look.
"Sorry, papa. I got a little too carried away with painting" Elin answered, earning an amused smile from her father.
"Alright, well you're here now. Let us head to the caves" He said, leading her and his other children away from the village.
As they walked through the woods, Elin couldn't help but feel as if something was off. She flinched slightly when she heard growling, and looked around but found nothing related to the sound.
Once they got to the caves, families settled into different areas and spoke amongst themselves quietly. Elin had remained quiet, her mind buzzing and her heart began to race for some strange reason.
Like before, the twenty-four year old heard a growl but then there was a scream that followed. A familiar feeling of dread filled her chest, making her shake in fear. She knew what this feeling was.
