"Who are you?" I wanted to know who he was and why he was concerned about someone he just met. And before that who is he that someone wants to kill him so badly?
"I am Damon" okay that was short.
"Hi Damon, I am Naomi, so surprised to meet you, would you care to elaborate on our situation?" I asked with a bored face.
He looked at me and smirked. Why did he smirk?
"My work can attract a few enemies with guns so I want to apologize that you have to be involved in this love" Wow! He can be charming with words too and that word love at the end tickles my stomach.
"so you are a thief chased by police" I said as a matter of fact.
He just looked at me and laughed. I mean like literally laughed and he has those dimples that make him look cute. My hands were tempting to poke those dimples. huh control naomi! I looked at the driver and he was looking like he had seen some ghost. After a few seconds, he stopped laughing and just smiled at me and said
"No, I am a Businessman but I can be a thief to steal your heart"
That was cringe, like a really old-time cringe but I didn't feel it cringe.
If it was somebody else who will hit me with those flirts I would literally cringe. I would just block him offline.
"So where are you taking me Busy man?"
I pretend to be calm but inside a volcano of butterflies have erupted in my stomach. I was barely controlling my blush.
"We are going to the hospital to treat your hand first" he restored. "I told you that was not necessary, I will be fine Damon, you can just drop me off somewhere here" I insisted.
He frowned, took my hands in his and looked at me saying
"Not happening. You will get your wounds treated and I will drop you home after that."
It was commanding and it definitely didn't sound like a request.
Signing I just sat straight. My phone rang. It was Nat. I picked it up immediately.
"Where are you N, are you okay? are you hurt? did somebody kidnapped you? what were you even thinking to run towards the dangerous situation? Where the hell are you exactly? are you there?" and she went on.
"I am alive Nat. Don't worry I am fine. I had to run out of the club when the gun was shot and it all happened so fast and I didn't get to inform you. I am sorry babe, but where are you? are you okay?" I replied.
"I am fine, I am with Zeke. Everybody ran out as soon as they heart the gun shot. I tried to find you but Zeke pulled me with him and when I saw that you were gone I thought maybe you must have also escaped. And where are you? I will pick you up."
