As I entered in to my apartment I saw a broken vase on the floor. Then as I roamed my eyes I saw our things are broken and torn, like someone broke into our apartment.
Oh no. Someone broke into my apartment.
I started to shiver. I am scared, suffocated. I am feeling numb. My heartbeat started to raise.
I checked all the rooms. Everything's mess. Everything messed up.
Mine and Nat's room stuff are scattered into pieces. It's hard to use them again.
Why is it every time I wanted to be happy something worse happens?
Tears welled up in my eyes. I can't think straight. Words are lost. I don't have anything now. Everything is lost.
Right then, my phone started to ring. I saw, it was Damon. I picked it up but no words left my mouth.
"Have you reached your room, darling?" Amidst the chaos I felt relief to hear his voice.
"Damon, I think someone broke into my apartment. I don't know what to do"
"What! I am coming. Just few seconds baby, I will be there"
Just like his words he came after few seconds.
"You didn't go yet"
"I wanted to know you reached safe or not" He scanned my room and others rooms too.
"I don't know how it happened, who will do this, what did I do to them" I started to sob, placing a hand on my mouth.
"I should clean up before Nat comes or else-" I was cut off my someone's voice.
"AHHHHHHH" we both heard a scream.
We rushed to the living room to see Nat placed one hand on her mouth and other losing her purse to the ground.
"What the fuck has happened here" I hugged her tightly. "Someone broke into our apartment Nat, everything's messed up"
"Oh my pretty jumpsuits, my cutie purse, Oh lord save me my designer watch. I am so gonna sue them for this." after sometime she spoke
" It looks like we can't stay here anymore N. We need to leave" Leave. Where am I gonna go? I have no one to go to. I was lost in my thoughts when Damon held my hand and turned me towards him.
"Hey, darling, love look at me" He forced me to look at him.
I saw his soft eyes.
"Listen carefully to me Naomi, you are not staying here, it's not safe"
And next he said which made my eyes wide. "You are staying with me" How can he come to that conclusion already. " I can't do that. I can't invade someone's privacy like that"
