*+* Isadora's POV *+*

I have nine projects due tomorrow. I need help but I don't know who'll help. Probably not my roommate who isn't here most the time. I walked to the library. He was there. I walked up to him.

"Can you possibly help me with my projects due tomorrow?" I asked, tapping him on the shoulder. He turned to me and chuckled.

"You're a real procrastinator." He said and shoved a book into the shelf. "What subject?" My cheeks turned red from embarrassment.

"A-all them." I said and looked at the ground. My roommate's face turned ghost white.

"Isadora..." He said like he was scolding me.

"I know Klaus." I said picking up a pencil. "Let's start now!" He walked with me to the room we shared. We worked on it for a while and finished six in six hours. By myself I would've done one in six hours.

"Let's eat dinner." Klaus said when we finished the history essay I had to do.

"Okay!" I said, putting a chip in my mouth. I ran to the nearest place I could eat food. Klaus was lagging behind me, though. I ate and was still hungry, so I ate Klaus' pasta that he had. Klaus chuckled and smiled at me when I took a fork full of his pasta. When we were going back to our room, I used Klaus' jacket because I was cold. Before that night we weren't very close but then on we always did things together and I started to like him (a little). I hid it until...

"Okay, we're playing spin the bottle for my birthday." Violet Baudelaire, Klaus' older sister, said. I was hoping I wouldn't be picked. "You can kiss them on the cheek or lips, nowhere else." I gulped. I was scared and was shaking. Violet spun the bottle, and it landed on Carmelita, a rude girl in school. Then it spun again and landed on my brother Quigley. He tried to back out of it, but he couldn't.

"Oh, Quigley." Violet said, cupping her hands on her mouth, pretending to be empathetic. "That was so funny." Quigley angrily looked at Violet and walked off. Violet was laughing hysterically. A few spins later it halted in front of me. I was shaking even more. It spun again, did a couple, and stopped in between Duncan and Klaus. Violet decided it would be better if Klaus did it because it would be funnier. Klaus grabbed me and even he looked scared. He quickly pecked a kiss on my cheek and turned red. Since it was his sister's house he ran into her room. I was also red as a lobster.

"My little brother is growing up!" Violet said, laughing her head off. I ran to find Klaus. I eventually found him and told him it was alright. He didn't care. He was so embarrassed.

"You know, I love you."

"W-what?"

"I love you."
