“All right, village boy! Let’s see how bad you want this robe. You gotta earn it by completing every task I give you.” I challenge Asta.
The kid yells, “I’m ready. Let’s do this!.”
Luck chimes in, “Aww. I want a baptism, too.”
I thought to myself, I wish I could just be with you instead of all these people, Luck. Wait, what? Why am I thinking about him like that? Oh well, no time to worry about it now. I got a baptism to attend to!
I finished Asta’s baptism. Honestly, the kid surprised me. I wasn’t expecting anything great from him, but I guess Yami picked him for a reason. Although, does that mean that the new kid is stronger than me? His superior? If he is what kind of superior would that make me? I can’t be weaker than him. I’ll just have to train harder. Either way, Im kinda tired of being around all of these people, so I guess I’ll go to my room to be alone.
I began to walk away from the crowd. Hopefully, no one would notice. I walked inside the hideout into the common room and then into the hallway. I stopped, feeling a hand on my shoulder, I turned around, being face to face with Luck. I began to blush profusely, my face a dark shade of red.
    “U-uh, hey, Luck. What’s up?” I mumbled.
“Where are you going, Magna? I saw you walk away from everyone else.” He explained.
“I-I, well, I just got tired and wanted to sleep early.” I lied to him.
“Hmmm. Okay.” He responded, not seeming fully convinced and also worried.
“I mean, l-look if you want you can come hang out in my room for a bit until I go to bed.” I blushed again, realizing what I had just said to the shorter boy.
“Okay! That sounds like fun!” Luck said, sounding excited, with a huge smile on his cute face.

Luck POV:

Wow! Asta just became a new member of the Black Bulls! That’s so cool! Hopefully he’ll fight me soon. He looks super strong. He was able to beat Magna, my favorite person to spar with! Wait, Magna. Where is he? I looked around, not able to spot him. I decided to see if I could sense his mana. It seems like he went inside the hideout. I’ll go talk to him. I walked into the hideout, seeing Magna walking into the hallway that is connected to the common room. I walked up behind him and put my hand on his shoulder. He turned around, and his face was super red. Maybe he felt sick, and that was why he came inside?
“U-uh, hey, luck. What’s up?” He mumbled, almost inaudible.
“Where are you going, Magna? I saw you walk away from everyone else.” I told him, concerned.
“I-I, well, I just got tired and wanted to sleep early.” He tried to reassure me.
“Hmmm. Okay.”I replied, but honestly, I wasn’t very convinced by what he said. It made me a bit worried.
“I mean, l-look if you want you can come hang out in my room for a bit until I go to bed.” He invited me, and then his face became red again, causing me to be concerned for his health again.
“Okay! That sounds like fun!” I told him with a big smile on my face, and now I’m able to make sure he’s okay.
Magna turns around and continues to walk towards his room. I follow closely behind him. As we make it to his room, he opens the door, and I follow him in, shutting the door behind me. He walks over to his bed and sits down on the floor next to it, resting his back and his head against the side of it. Unsure of what exactly I should do, I follow in suit and go over and sit down next to him.
“U-uhm, hey, Magna, if you want to go to bed now, I can go. You seem pretty tired.” I say to him, not actually wanting to leave, but worried that I’m intruding on him.
“No. Don’t you dare think about leaving.” He said, looking at the floor.
For some reason, that made my face heat up a bit.
“Uh, okay. So now what?” I mumbled, slightly embarrassed.
Magna’s eyes closed slowly, and his head that was resting on the mattress slowly began to slip. Worried for my friend I watched to make sure that he didn’t get hurt. His head fell onto my shoulder, luckily, so he didn’t get injured.
“M-Magna?” I whispered, unsure if he would be able to hear me. His head turned slightly, and his face was right next to my face. As I noticed that, my face became a bright red. I thought to myself, I guess he’s asleep? What should I do? Just stay here? What if someone comes in? My thoughts raced as I wondered what to do about the situation at hand. I mean, oh well he’s my best friend. Best friends do this for each other, right? Yeah, they are there to support their friends, physically and emotionally, so I’m just helping out my best friend. My thoughts began to die down as I came to this conclusion. The exhaustions from the day started to catch up with me. I slowly began to drift into a deep slumber, resting my head right on top of Magna’s I finally closed my eyes for the night.
