Meanwhile in the lobby.
As soon as Charlie saw the new guests disappearing upstairs with Angel Dust, she swung the door open for Alastor.
"May I speak now?" Alastor inquired, reaching his hand out to shake Charlie's only to be stopped by a spear pointed at his face making back off slightly. "Alastor! Pleasure to be meeting you, sweetheart! Quite a pleasure!" He continued, as he let himself in. "Excuse my sudden visit, but I saw your fiasco on a picture show, and I just couldn't resist! What a performance! Why, I haven't been that entertained since the stock market crash of 1929!" he chuckled, playing with his mic staff. "Sooo many orphans..."
"I want to help!" Alastor declared with an unsettling grin.
"Pardon?" Charlie replied, slightly confused by his sudden appearance.
"Help! Hahaha, hello? Is this thing on?" Alastor tapped on his mic, and the mic suddenly opened its eye. "Well, I heard you loud and clear!"
Charlie looked at Alastor and then at the mic, unsure of how to respond.
"Um, you want to help? With...?" Charlie's voice trailed off as she tried to make sense of the situation.
Alastor teleported behind the two with a mischievous smile. "This ridiculous thing you're trying to do! This hotel! I want to help you run it."
