on february 11th, big hit entertainment announced that j.w would be leaving bts.
their statement reads:
❝ hello, this is big hit entertainment.
j.w, who has been a member of bts until this time, has left the group and terminated his exclusive contract due to personal circumstances.
we apologize for the sudden news and hope you will continue supporting bts as seven.
we ask that you support j.w who will be starting on a new path.
