"Inside the Mind of the (Idiot) Mastermind!" (Ayanokoji x Horikita)

(Main AU Ch 1) Advanced Nurturing High School Week 1

Ayanokoji POV

Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School, established by the government of Japan. A school that nurtures young students who will support the future of the country. It boasts employment rate and college entry rate to 100% with its advanced education.

"The school I have chosen to learn and experience human emotions."

"The school where I'll finally have my freedom."

I board the bus that would take me to my destination and find a seat. I observe the others in the bus, there were many with the same uniform. I look at a young blonde man sitting in a priority seat, he was being asked to give up his seat for an old lady by a girl with short brown hair. The young blonde man refused to give up his seat. "He seems like a narcissist..." The girl sighed and asked if anybody else on the bus was willing to offer their seat for the old lady. I look around and see someone else give up their seat but, a raven-haired girl caught my eye. She seemed to be uninterested in giving up her seat. 

Horikita POV

When I was young, I was messing around with some potions in a lab. I was quite a curious child and, my genius little self decided to drink a potion. It was a stupid idea, but we don't talk about it.. After that day, I had obtained mind-reading powers. I have never told anyone about it, nor do I plan to. "I don't know why my little self thought it was a good idea to drink a lab potion, but I guess the output is quite handy in some situations."

As I was reading a book, I noticed a brown-haired boy staring at me. He looked quite monotonous and boring. 

"Why is this artless indecent guy staring at me.."

"Maybe I should confront him when we get off the bus."

Ayanokoji POV

As we all get off the bus, I look around. The school grounds were really big, there were a lot of gardens and I swear I even saw an amusement park. It would be great for walks or going out with friends. "Not like my unsocial ass is going to take that into consideration anyway.."

I was at the school gate, when I was about to go in, I was stopped by the voice of someone. I looked back to see it was the raven-haired girl that I had noticed on the bus.

"Why were you staring at me in the bus?" She asks me.

("Shit. Should I make up an excuse? Should I compliment her? I mean.. she is kind of hot.. Wait what? What am i supposed to say again? SHIT. Think of something Kiyotaka! I'm literally going to look like an idiot..")

"What the fuck is this guy thinking? Can't even give a simple response. Pathetic."  The raven-haired girl thinks to herself.

"I just noticed that like me, you were uninterested in giving up your seat. You don't like any unnecessary trouble either, huh?" He says.

("Phew. Surely that response was enough right?")

"I suppose. But that doesn't make me similar to you. I held onto my seat as a matter of conviction"

("That just makes her worse than me..?!")

"Please tell me this guy and I are not in the same class. He looks like some unsocial pathetic insomniac?! If I have to deal with him I swear I am going to kill him." She thinks to herself.

All the students make their way to the hall where the Student Council President, who introduced himself as Manabu Horikita, was giving a speech to welcome the newly admitted 1st years.

Almost all students there were on the verge of falling asleep cause of the boring speech..

("Shit. She's in my class")
