Ayanokoji POV
About a week before our mid-terms, I go to Kushida during the lunch break.
"Kushida-san, would you like to join me at the cafeteria for lunch?" I say, inviting her.
"Hm? Sure! I would love to!" She says excitedly with a radiant smile on her face.
"He's up to something devious.." Horikita thinks to herself as she watches him leave the classroom with Kushida during lunch break.
At the cafeteria, I search for a person who was our senior and eating a free cafeteria meal.
We find a 3rd year student and go up to him when he sits down at a table in the cafeteria.
"Excuse me, are you a 3rd year student?" I ask.
"Yes. What do you want?" He asks with suspicion.
I try to make a deal with him, offering 10,000 points in return for his 1st year Mid term papers and quizzes but the guy wouldn't budge. Luckily, Kushida manages to convince him and we settle for 15,000 points.
The senior gets us the exam papers and quizzes from his 1st year and I pay the points to him. I check the questions from a recent quiz, the questions being exactly the same in both. I tell Kushida that she should give the papers to our classmates the day before the exam and tell them she got it from a friend. To this, Kushida agrees.
The day before the exam, Kushida hands out the printed exam papers. Ike and Yamauchi wiggle around while thanking Kushida.
Horikita still seemed suspicious of me..
After the exams came to an end, the day of the results came. Everyone passed except..
Sudo Ken.
He got a 39, the passing mark being 40. Poor guy..
Chabashira-sensei heads to the roof after telling Sudo that he would get expelled. I stand up..
"Ayanokoji-kun? Are you going to do something to help Sudo?" Kushida asks when i stand up.
"I was just gonna use the washroom.." I reply
Maybe I shouldn't have said that. The awkward silence in the room was loud..
"This guy is such an idiot." Horikita thinks to herself but follows Ayanokoji anyway.
I make my way to the roof, following Chabashira-sensei.
"Sensei, I would like to buy something with my points."
"And what might that be?" She asks.
"Please sell me a mark to add to Sudo Ken's english exam." I reply. To this, she chuckles.
"You think I would just sell that to you?" She questions.
"On the first day, you stated that anything could be bought with points.. It's not against the school rules to buy marks."
"You're quite smart." She praises me.. "But, do you have enough points for that?" She continues.
"How many points would it cost?"
"100,000 points and I'll sell it to you." She replies with a troublesome grin.
"That's cruel, sensei.." I say as I look at the amount of points I have on my phone. Before I could think of something else, I hear Horikita from behind, mentioning that she would be willing to pay too.
"Very well I'll sell it to you, I don't have a choice as I already agreed." Chabashira-sensei says.
After paying the points to Chabashira-sensei, we head back to class.
