When she reached her house her mom was standing outside.
"Thankyou" she said to the guy and got off.
"Maa" she said as she opened the gate.
"Teesha, kahan thi itni der aur yeh kon hai?" Her mom asked glaring at the driver, Ajay diverted his attention towards the road.
"Vo... vo toh cab se aayi hu main" she made up a lie. 'god! Please mujhe maff kardena' she prayed inwardly.
"Theek hai andar chalo" her mother said and again glared at the driver.
Teesha sat on the sofa in the living room.
"Kaha thi tum teesha sach sach batao mujhe? Sab theek hai na kya tum ro rahi thi?" Her mother asked giving her a glass of water.
She drink it and sighed 'finally I'm home'
"Maa main Library mein thi, padh rahi thi aur is karan hi mera phone off a raha hoga kyuki maine DND on kardiya tha galti se. I am so sorry, '' she said innocently.
"Par tumne message kiya tha ki friend ke sath ho?" Her mother said suspiciously.
"Vo... vo main thi phir vo chali gayi toh main... hum Library mein the par vo chali gayi" Teesha stumbled on her words, she doesn't like lying to her mother.
'That bastard, I'm going to kill him' she was in rage inwardly but still smiled in front of her mother.
Her mother hummed but still looked at her with suspicion and concern.
'i am sorry maa apko sach nahi bata sakti hu' she thought 'ya phir sayad bata sakti hu'
"Maa vo-" before she could speak, her mother interrupted.
"Room mein jakar kapde change karlo fresh ho jao main khana garam kardeti hu" her mom said with a smile.
Teesha can't help but feel like crying, she nodded and quickly went upstairs.
Changing into a simple shirt and leggings she went to the kitchen which was downstairs.
Her mom was almost ready with her plate.
"Maa..." Teesha said nervously
"Hm?"
"Apse kuch jaruri baat karni thi"
"Bolo"
"Abhi nahi.... Khana khane ke baad baat" she said nervously.
"Theek hai Teesha" her mother said with a smile and placed her plate on the dining table.
"Ache se khao, pura finish karna main arav ko dekhkar ati hu" her mother said and she just nodded.
After finishing her dinner she went to her mother's room.
"Maa" she said, knocking at the door.
"Khaliya khana? Main toh aa hi rahi thi bahar" her mother said.
"Mujhe kuch batana hai tumhe." Her mother said, smiling.
"Kya maa?" She asked, confused.
"Tumhe bhi kuch jaruri baat karni thi na pehle tum batao kyunki mere pass khushkhabri hai" her mother said smiling.
"Toh aap hi bataiye pehle" Teesha smiled at her mother,it's been so long since she had seen her mother smiling like that.
"Acha theek hai. Yeh dekho" her mother said and forwarded a paper to her.
"Yeh kya hai?" She asked, still smiling but now slightly confused.
"Padh na" her mother said excitedly.
