Emerging from the final portal, Furie found herself in a once-beautiful clearing next to the waterfall, now marred by chaos and destruction. The scene before her was a manifestation of brutality, with broken trees, muddy puddles, and an uneven terrain, scarred by cracks, holes, and odd rocks. The magical landscape that had once captivated her senses lay ravished and desolate. The serene waterfall, a symbol of nature's beauty, now seemed like a casualty of the chaos, its once tranquil flow disrupted and replaced with a tumultuous rush. The anger within Furie intensified as she surveyed the damage, knowing that this once pristine sanctuary had fallen victim to the relentless assault.

Amidst the chaotic scene, shadow creatures floated, flew, growled, and ran in disarray. Furie barely had time to process the devastation before her as she noticed a small group of six Guardians struggling to stand. However, her attention was abruptly diverted when something struck her right leg. A cry escaped Furie's lips as she fell onto her left side, her eyes widening in shock as she witnessed a strange black and purple substance crawling on her leg. The viscous material moved and grew, its burning sensation intensifying with each passing moment. Fear and confusion gripped Furie as she wondered if the substance was not only poisonous but alive.

In a swift and protective gesture, Ignatius moved toward Furie, his hands working rapidly to conjure flames. With precision, he burnt the malicious substance on Furie's leg, and a subtle high-pitched scream emanated from the dying goo.

After Ignatius dealt with the menacing goo on Furie's leg, his attention quickly shifted to a foreboding presence. He gazed in the direction from which the mysterious substance had come, and there emerged two tall, ominous figures. The beings were shrouded in long, flowing black capes made of shadow, and their faces were concealed by large black hoods. The hooded figures seemed devoid of any discernible features, as if their faces were replaced by dark voids. Furie couldn't help but shiver at the eerie sight, feeling an unsettling emptiness where their eyes should be -a manifestation of their soulless existence. Furie quickly understood that the two figures were Penumbras.

As the two Penumbras glided toward the trio with an unnerving fluidity, Ignatius, ever vigilant, recognized the impending threat. In response, he harnessed the power of his fire element, flames erupting from his hands with a rapid intensity. The flames grew exponentially, a testament to Ignatius's formidable strength, and he directed his fiery assault toward the approaching Penumbras. The fiery onslaught was a dazzling display of Ignatius's power, the flames dancing and swirling in the air as they sought to engulf the hooded figures. Despite their elusive and shadowy nature, the Penumbras now faced an adversary who wielded the very essence of fire against them.

As Ignatius confronted the two Penumbras with his formidable display of fire manipulation, Blaze rushed to Furie's side, assisting her in standing once again. Furie glanced briefly at her right leg, where a sizable piece of her pants was missing, revealing red, blistered skin, a testament to the corrosive nature of the goo. Ignoring the pain, Furie focused on the immediate threat, standing resiliently next to her sister.

With Furie back on her feet, Blaze swiftly redirected her attention to the chaotic battlefield. She noticed an Earth Guardian besieged by five shadow creatures, her defenses waning against the relentless onslaught. Blaze, fueled by determination, summoned the power of her Air and Fire elements to create fiery tornadoes. The spiraling tempests ripped through the shadows, blowing away two of them in a powerful display of elemental prowess. Cruelly smiling at the effectiveness of her attack, Blaze reveled in the destruction she had wrought upon the malevolent shadows. Her eyes sparkled with a fierce determination, and she felt a surge of satisfaction as the shadows dissipated under the force of her unleashed power. The Earth Guardian, granted a momentary reprieve, looked up at Blaze with gratitude, the exhaustion in her eyes temporarily lifted by the intervention of the skilled Guardian.
