Izuku's heat was not pleasant. It was never pleasant. But this time, he was able to feel somewhat safe in his nest. He didn't have to worry nearly as much about someone taking advantage of this state. Though, he did end up having to fight with his desire to be with his boyfriends.
Everything in him yearned to go to them, have them help him in the way that only an alpha can help an omega in heat. But then the side of his brain that was always skeptical took over. They would end up hurting him. They always end up hurting him.
So Izuku stayed in his room, one of the alpha's bringing him food every day but barely stepping into the room otherwise.
He felt useless.
He was supposed to pleasure them and he couldn't even do that in heat, the time he is the neediest. How was he supposed to be a good boyfriend, a good omega, when he couldn't pleasure his alphas?
By the time his heat ended a week had passed. It had been a long and dreadful week and all Izuku wanted was the care of his boyfriends.
The omega threw on one of his boyfriends sweaters before quietly stepping out of his room, his legs still wobbly from his heat. He felt weak, but he didn't care about that right now. He looked down the hall for one of his boyfriends but found no one.
Eijiro's laugh told him they were probably downstairs.
Izuku headed downstairs, holding the wall for support. He found the three alphas in the living room, sitting on the couch and watching a show together.
Eijiro was the first to notice him. "Babe, you ok? Do you need something?" He asked, seeing how wobbly he was. "Is your heat finished?" He finally asked when he noticed his scent wasn't as strong as it had been through the week. He looked like he wanted to get up but wasn't sure if he should approach the omega who had been more then skittish all week.
Izuku nodded. He really just wanted to cuddle with his boyfriends now but he was nervous to ask.
"Wanna sit with us?" Shoto asked softly, a small, reassuring smile on his lips.
He nodded again and they made room for him on the couch for him.
"Everything ok?" Katsuki asked when Izuku immediately curled up against them, still not saying a word.
"Missed cuddling," he muttered, snuggling his face more against Katsuki's shoulder. His head still felt fuzzy, but it was more like his preheat when he could feel calm and not worry about anything.
"Yeah, baby?" Katsuki asked, pressing his nose into the omega's green curls.
Izuku nodded with a small hum. "I'm sorry," he then muttered.
"For what, love?" Eijiro asked, wrapping an arm around Izuku's waist.
"Kicking you all out of my room." He had been feeling guilty about that all week. He shouldn't tell an alpha what to do. That was engrained into his head no matter how many times he would be told it was ok.
Shoto shifted so he could be in front of Izuku and take his hands. "Izuku, you weren't comfortable with us there and that's okay."
"We understand why you didn't want us there with you," Eijiro continued, rubbing his thumb in circles over Izuku's hip. "We are in no way mad at you. It's okay."
Izuku let his brain run for a little bit. He felt his eyes prick with tears, feeling a little overwhelmed now. "I- I wanted- I wanted you guys," he muttered. "I just- I was scared..." he had wanted to be with them so badly, but in heat all that really registered was that they were alphas, and every other alpha he had been around in heat had hurt him. So no matter how badly he wanted to be with them, he couldn't. "I-I'm sorry."
