ISADORA'S POV
"Jude's not staying with me this time," I say as I walk into Danna's house.
"What?" she asks as she stayed standing by the door.
"He told me that he was going to stay with the team, and he's only staying for two days."
"So you're only going to see him at the game?"
I nod, "yeah probably." Honestly, I didn't expect him to want to stay with the team. If anything, I thought he'd want to be around me more.
Danna paces back and forth with a hand on her chin, "that's really weird. Are we sure that he doesn't know anything?"
"I don't even want to talk about this anymore, is it so bad if he does know something? maybe I'd feel less terrible if he does."
She stops pacing, and walks over to me. "I don't want to sound mean, but realistically, nothing is going to make you feel less terrible."
I sigh and sit on the edge of her couch, "I know. I wish that it could've worked, and maybe if it's meant to be, we'll find each other again. But right now, I can't do this, and I don't think he can either."
