Leon Kennedy and Y/N

Chapter 4

Y/N awoke to the sound of the 3 hour timer running out and the chambers unlocking. They jolted to a start, looking around anxiously, and calmed down once they saw Leon sitting right next to them.
"You were supposed to wake me up!" scolded Y/N.
"I couldn't bear to wake you up. Besides, you needed some shut-eye." Leon replied.
Y/N scoffed and laughed as they entered the next layer of the lab. They surveyed the area, not seeing any BOW's, when suddenly a man came bounding into the room.
"Barry!?" Asked Y/N, surprised to see one of their fellow agents who was currently off duty. "Where's Moira?"
"She's been....infected." Barry solemnly answered. Leon and Y/N exchanged pained glances when suddenly they heard scratching at the door.
"Barry... you did... terminate her, right" Y/N anxiously replied. "Right!?"
"TERMINATE HER!?" Yelled Barry. "SHE'S MY DAUGHTER!"
Suddenly an infected Moira burst into the room and jumped onto Leon. He struggled to push her off without injuring her and Y/N 
shot her off of Leon unhesitatingly.
"I'm sorry. I had to. I'm so so sorry" Y/N repeated over and over agin, approaching Barry as he furiously ran towards her, baring his gun. He had just cocked his gun when Leon shot him and he collapsed to the ground. Y/N gasped in horror, staring at the two dead, and Leon ran up to her.
"We have to move on Y/N. There's zombies coming in." Leon grabbed her arm and pulled her into the next sterilization room as she struggled to accept what had just happened. They entered the room and Y/N slumped to the ground as Leon sat down next to her. Y/N leaned away from him.
"I just want to help people" whispered Y/N. "That's the only reason I joined the force."
Leon gently grabbed their chin and turned them towards him.
"You do." He affirmed. He brushed a tear off of their face.
"You do."
"So do you." Whispered Y/N. Their faces slowly moved towards each other until they were almost touching. They stayed there for a few seconds, and their lips were about to touch when the cooldown timer abruptly went off and a BOW came crashing into the sterilization room. They jumped up and Leon pushed Y/N behind him as he roundhouse kicked the zombie out of the way.
"We have to keep going." Leon firmly said, taking her hand. Y/N nodded and they entered the next final of the lab.
