Leon Kennedy and Y/N

Chapter 9

After a matter of hours Luis entered the hallway and closed the door behind him. "If the surgery went well, they'll be waking up in the next hour. As for me, it's vacation. Or I'll at least leave this biohazard of a lab." Luis said, walking out of the lab. Leon ran into the office and sat down in the chair next to Y/N. They were still unconscious. Chris stayed in the hall. Leon stared at Y/N anxiously, waiting for any signs of life to come back into their face. After what seemed like years, Y/N's eyes twitched and they sat up with a start, looking around with panic until they saw Leon.
"Leon." Y/N sighed with relief while Leon folded them in his arms. Leon breathed deeply for the first time in hours and breathed in Y/N's smell, realizing that he had never been so afraid in his life.
Y/N gasped and drew back, seeing the blood coating his clothes.
"Oh God, are you ok!?" Asked Y/N.
"That's your blood." Leon whispered sternly.
"Oh." Replied Y/N.
"You shouldn't have done that." Leon said sadly. "Sacrificing yourself for me.. you're not doing me any favors. I can't lose you."
"Why?" Asked Y/N.
"Because...." Leon whispered into their ear.
"I love you."
