01. Chapter one

ooo. This book was made just for fun so there won't be usual updates. I'll just update at random( as if that's any different on my main account )
ooo. Idk how the boss fight thing that's down in the cavern even starts fighting, and im too tired to check it out, so ya

ooo. her eyes opened as she sat up before deciding that she had slept enough and she wanted to move, she didn't really know what time it was since it was dark down here from this level of the Chasm and further on, since there were some other levels of this mysterious place. Of course she's been to a lot of the levels, except for a few. One being that there was some monster there... she even shuddered at the memory...

(Some time ago)

As she was bored and went to explore, which led to her getting lost- she stumbled across a area she hasn't ever seen before. And she means ever.

And at first glance, she was confused on why no one would want to be here. But that's when she stepped foot on a area as the ground rumbled, making her wobble back. And at first she thought it was because the chasm might be sick or something and that's why there was that weird goop that had spread around her home, but that's when she saw it.

"EEKKK!!" She screamed before she began to ran, though she had to dodge a attack coming from it, making her fall to her bumb, her head snaps up and she managed to get on her feet and start running as fast as her little legs could take her, when she had to skid to a stop as it was in front of her before it lunged, she shut her eyes close as she jumped out of the way in the nick of time before running away before she hid behind a bolder

She slid down it as she held her head, and after a moment, she was a bit confused why it hadn't tried killing her, even though she was sure she wouldn't die. Yet it was still confusing as to why it hadn't attacked her yet, so she looks over her shoulder and she peeked her head from around the bolder, blinking her eyes in surprise at the sight of the monster gone, "eh? Where'd it go?" She ponders, but she decided not to stick around, she didn't want to jinx it. So she ran away from where the monster was, going through a path that although it seems impossible to pass through by, she does so

(Present)

The memory of that encounter makes her shiver. She was pretty brave for her age, but even that made her a bit nervous. Also that it was when she didn't really know how to use her vision, though at least now she's pretty good with it. Though she usually uses it to help aid her pranks

Her mind wanders to the present as she pulls herself out of the cart, when she moved forward, she caught a wiff of a strange smell from the mines, "what's that smell?" She questions to herself, her brows furrowing in wonder. These abandoned mines usually had a odd smell compared to the mines up above, but since a bit later in the day yesterday, the smell in these mines had changed, and now it's changed again. Usually the smell was already a bit distasteful with all the weird goop as of late- though it's been here for around 7 years- anyways. She was getting of track. It's time for breakfast

So, she decides to head up towards the top mines to go get some breakfast since here there wasn't much to eat unlike where the miners up above eat normal food. Not the same food as the hilaturals- of course she wasn't opposed to eating what the monsters eat, she was fine eating any food she could get her hands on- with exception of any food from the researchers from the land of Dendro or popsicles. Specifically blue one's.

She was walking, making sure to avoid the goop that gave off a smell. She even sees the underground waterway that she doesn't like to go in since she doesn't particularly like bathing in nasty water. She does like to skip rocks though- of course it was nothing compared to skipping rocks with her friends, or mr. Zhongli

And just as she passed by a cart, there was a small shake in the ground, as if someone just fired a canon somewhere, making her stop in her tracks, "a boom?" She blinks her eyes in confusion, her brows slightly furrowed. She's seen some miners years ago use canons for the really hard to mine rocks, but it's been a long time since she's heard a canon fire go off, "are the miners mining down here again? But i thought mr. Yiao( i just made up a name ) say it's too dangerous..." she ponders as her bottom lip was pursed out, her brows furrowed in confusion

And as she stared into the distance from the direction of the canon sound, she hears the sound of the hilatures, snapping her out as she sees that they were making a fucus over a plant, so she decides to just watch as the hilaturles began fighting. Unlike most of the other hilaturles, these ones didn't have the weird black aura

"Why are you fighting over a floor mr. hilaturles?" She asks as she moved towards them, she decided breakfast can wait for now. Which wasn't a usual thing, the hilaturles make some sounds, as if they all wanted to eat the flower, but there was just two and a half of the petals, and there was three of them

"Well i'll just eat it for you!" She says as she takes the flower and she eats it, and after, she just holds out the stem as the hilaturles were frozen in shock as she just skips away

She skipped until she was in the outside, or the highest level of the chasms, where she skips towards where the few miners that did still work here resided, waving to any miners she passes by until she gets to their camp that's hidden, "good morning, mr. Yiao! Can i have breakfast now?" She asks as she was near him, and he looks down, "ah, yao gui. Good morning to you too, and of course. Here's some stuffed buns" he says as he looked down at her, holding out a thing of stuffed buns, which she takes in her hands as her eyes sparkle in awe as she was already drooling at the thought of the warm pastry

"Thanks mr. Yiao!!" She exclaims as she looks up at him with a smile, "you can go sit over there if you'd like" he points to a spot, giving her a warm look on his wrinkly face, "alright!" She exclaims as she moves just where he pointed too before taking a seat, she holds it, the warmth of the stuffed buns made her usually cold hands much warmer than before. She doesn't take to long admiring it, and how it made her hands all nice and warm like the big yellow ball does that she doesn't know is actually called the Sun instead of what she refers it as

She proceeds to take a bite from it. The meat of it made it even more tasty than just bread. She continues to eat it as her legs sway forward and backwards, a satisfied hum coming from her as she chewed the warm stuffed bun until eventually she finished, which did make her disappointed- but it was good enough that it made her not as disappointed as usual

"Thank you mr. Yiao!! It was sooo good!! Hehe!" She says as she throws her hands in the air as she gave him a cheeky smile, making him return a smile as well, "i'm glad your happy, yao gui" he says with a old man's smile

As she looked at him, she gains a smaller smile that was saddened as she realizes how old he was, "mr. Yiao, how old are you?" She asks him, "ah, i believe I'm about 72. I'm quite old, aren't i?" He laughs out as he held his crane, "uh huh... mr. Yiao... will you go traveling like my mama and papa are?" She asks in worry. "Not for a while, don't worry. This old man isn't going anywhere, anytime soon! Haha!" He laughs to her, making her smile again as she giggles

"I'm going to go prank the miners!" She calls to him as she hops out of her seat, making him nod, "very well then, go have fun" he tells her with a smile to her, which she giggles out before turning and running off to go prank some of the miners
