There's a color you can see nearly everywhere
It comes in many different shades of hues
It's refreshing at times
Calming in the night
Cozy in the day
It has a sweet little light
It's the color of life
The color of peace
To most it's disgusting
But that's only because they forget
It's the color of nature
The color of growth
The color of the world
Every crunchy leaf you step on
Every piece of dead grass you step across
Was once this color
This beautiful color
One that the world would be empty without
It's the color of all
One we could not live without
My favorite color of them all
Here is that color
The color we need
The color of it all
For once this color is gone
All hope will be lost
So keep it around
Don't lose hopeIt's misunderstood
All cause they forget
It's the color of all
