A word that some often use to describe me
Strength is something you earn
Not always is it physical
Majority of the time it's all a mental game

Who can keep up the mask the longest
Rebuilding walls around your guarded self worth
Adding more plaster to the cracks in the walls
More cement to the brick building you create daily
Strong
When all you need is a moment of weakness
"You're stronger than your anxiety"
Words falling on deaf ears while my lungs all but collapse
Like the walls I built to surround myself
They crash down around me nightly
Trying to pick myself up out of the rubble
I hear you say once more
"Stay strong."
