Fulton slipped on his sweatpants as I slipped his shirt over my head. I adjusted the pillows and Fulton crawled in beside me, placing his head on my chest. He was always cuddly after a bad game. My hands immediately went to his hair and I started running my fingers through it. He sighed at the touch, cuddling in closer to my neck. "I meant it, you know." He said, placing kisses on my collarbone.

"Meant what?" I asked. Fulton looked up.
"When I told you that I love you. I do. I love you." I tensed up. "You don't have to say it back. I just needed to tell you." Fulton continued, placing his head back on my chest.
I didn't know how i felt. I have never really felt love before. And the only person I had ever said those words to was Julie. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard soft snores coming from the boy on top of me. I reached over and set the alarm and turned off the light before cuddling closer to him and falling asleep.

I was in the Varsity locker room with Julie, Russ, and Kenny. We were using liquid nitrogen to freeze the Varsity players' clothes. "I love this liquid nitrogen. I think it works. Yeah, it's working. Hey, you think they're gonna miss this big old tank in chemistry class?" Russ asked as he sprayed their lockers. "What do you think?" Kenny asked. "Hey, what about Banksie?" "He's one of them now, isn't he?" Before Julie had even finished her sentence, I had taken the nitrogen and sprayed it all over Adam's locker. I then took out a can of black spray paint and sprayed three lines on a diagonal down his frozen jacket. Once I was done they looked like claw marks, I smiled proudly. I then proceeded to stand on top of the lockers and spray paint 'Varsity sucks ice!' on the wall above the door.

The boys went to return to tank of liquid nitrogen and I turned to Julie. "Can I talk to you for a minute?" Julie gave me a skeptical look. "Okay?" She said, kind of scared. You never knew what was gonna come out of my mouth. "Fulton told me he loves me." I said. Julie's eyes widened. "And? What did you say?" "I didn't say anything." I confessed. "Sandy!" Julie scolded. "I know, and I feel terrible. But I don't know if I do or not.
You're the only person I've ever loved besides myself." I ranted, tears forming in my eyes.

I didn't cry that often, so Julie knew that it was eating me up inside. She pulled me in for a hug. "Hey, I know you. And I know that you're gonna figure this out. You always do. And if you decide that you don't feel the same way, that's okay. And if Fulton loves you as much as he says he does, he'll understand." Julie said. "Thanks, Jules." Harlow said. "Anytime, softie"

"What's going on in that pretty head of yours?" Fulton asked, sitting next to me. "Just thinking." I responded. "About what?" Fulton asked, placing his hand on her thigh. "You. And..." "Dean?" I nodded, I already knew that was a lie. Fulton turned my head towards him and kissed me, pulling away once the Varsity team approached their table. "Hey, congrats on the Blake game." Riley said. "Yeah, right. We tied." Charlie said. "Hey, a point's a point. We're all Warriors now. You guys proved your guts. You all set for dinner Friday?"

"Dinner?" Russ said "well, it's Eden Hall tradition Varsity gotta treat the freshmen to dinner. So round up yours posses and meet us at 6:00 at the Minnesota Club, downtown. Anybody need a ride, we can take you. I mean you guys do like steak and seafood, right?" Riley asked. "I'm a vegetarian." I said. I wasn't actually, i just didn't want to go. "Well, I'm sure you'll find something you like." I rolled my eyes. "Look, I don't like you pukes, alright? But this is a tradition. At Eden Hall, I learned to care about tradition." Cole said. "It's cool." Adam said before leaving with the rest of Varsity. "Oh, it's cool." Russ said, mocking him. "Let's go. If Banks says it's cool, we might as well go."

I had unfortunately gotten stuck in sitting next to Rick Riley. "Hey, Julie, want this extra piece of prime rib?" Goldberg asked Julie, and I watched as Julie elbowed him. "Look, I'm just trying to help you." "Give it up, Goldberg." I leaned around Julie to say to him. I snapped back around when i felt a hand on my thigh. I tensed up when Rick looked over to me. I kicked Fulton from underneath the table and gave him a look. He nodded. "I have to go to the bathroom." I said, knocking Rick's hand off and standing up. "Yeah, so do I." Fulton said, following after me.
"Oh god." I heard Connie say as we left.
Once they were out of sight and close to the bathrooms. I pulled Fulton against her.
"You okay?" He asked, his hands going to my waist. "Rick was being a little... touchy." I said. Fulton's eyes darkened. "Oh, I'm gonna kill him." He said, going to leave. I pulled him back and kissed him. I pulled away too soon for Fulton's liking. "Just show him I'm yours." I said, pulling his lips back to mine.

Me and Fulton walked back into the dining room after about ten minutes. "Have fun?" Julie asked. "Julie. Not now." I said. "Hey, Sandy, nice hickey." Luis said as she sat back down. Everyone turned to look at my neck. And then they all looked in between me and Fulton.
"Oh. Oh!" Cole said. Fulton smirked as the JV team laughed. "So, you and him?" Rick asked, gesturing between the two of us. "Yes. It's not exactly a secret." I said. "Well." Rick said and then tapped his glass. "On behalf of the Eden Hall Warrior Varsity State Championship hockey team, I'd like to welcome the future state champs, the Eden Hall freshmen. Here, here." Everyone clinked their glasses together. "We're just glad you loaned us Banksie so that we'd have a chance to beat you guys in the annual freshmen Varsity showdown. Now, nobody move. We've got one last surprise. Fellas?"

The entire Varsity team got up. "I don't have a good feeling about this." I said to Julie.
"Banksie." Adam got up and followed them.
"Don't worry. We'll be right back." "Guys, I don't want to spoil anything, but I overheard something in the bathroom. It's a cake." Guy said. "I don't think it is." I argued. "Act surprised. Alright?" The door opened and a giant cake was brought in. "Ah, they are too kind." Charlie said. "Look at what the cake says." I said, waiting for them to realize.

"Thanks for dinner, losers." Goldberg read out.
The man handed me the bill who then handed it to Charlie. "Oh, man." Guy said.
"Eight hundred and fifty seven dollars." Charlie read out. I turned to Julie. "See, this is why we should've brought our cards." I said.
"I know. I know." "Where are we gonna get that kind of cash?" Goldberg asked. I ended up having to clean dishes alongside Julie and Dwayne. Connie and Goldberg were cleaning the bathrooms, while everyone else was cleaning the dining room.
