****I changed the very last part of chapter 8 from Chuck to Gilinsky***

**Kelleys POV**

"Hey Jack," I said, feeling kind of uncomfortable. How did he get into our house?

"Kelley, we need to talk," Jack said as he took my hand and led me outside, shutting the glass door behind him so Hayes couldn't hear.

"Yeah I think we do," I said, running my fingers through my sea-salt covered hair.

"You need to make a decision. Either me, or Hayes."

Jack and I have been secretly seeing each other for a month and a half. It was mostly just talking, occasionally more, but Jack just always made me feel really happy. Whenever I saw Hayes, he would just make me remember what happened. Jack made me forget.

"I knew this time was going to come," I sighed. Ever since that night in the hospital when Jack told me he loved me, there was a very tiny part of me that loved him back.

"I'll give you another week to decide. I know you love Hayes a lot. Hell, you're married to him. Honestly, I don't expect you to choose me. But I know how I make you feel. Hayes could never make you feel as good as I make you feel."

He was so right.

"Jack if we are going to talk about this, we need to go somewhere private. Hayes is standing literally right there," I said and turned around. Sure enough, Hayes was standing there staring at us.

"Why don't we talk tonight? Will you be my date to a red carpet event event tonight?" Jack asked, looking down at me and into my eyes.

"Sure," I sighed, ignoring the fact that I still didn't feel good.

"Great, I'll pick you up in," Jack stopped to look at the time on his phone. "2 hours. It's 4:45 now."

"Great, see you then. Bye Jack," I said and then hugged him lightly.

We both walked back inside to see a confused Hayes.

"Jack what are you doing here?" Hayes asked, but Jack just smiled at him and the walked out the front door after smiling and waving at me.

I waved back at him and then looked at Hayes. He gave a weird look.

"What?" I asked, smiling, laughing and looking down at my feet.

"Is there something going on with you guys that I need to know about?" He asked.

"Nothing important," I shrugged and took out my phone.

"Okay then.."

"I have to go get ready for a red carpet event. Jack asked me to go with him. I hope you're okay with it?" I asked.

"Yeah that's fine I guess..have fun," Hayes sighed.

"Hey, remember, you'll always be my number one. Number one husband, boyfriend, best friend. I love you," I said and kissed his cheek.

"Love you too. Now go get ready," Hayes said, pushing me up the stairs.

As I was sliding my dress on, Hayes walked into our room.

"Hey, can you zip this up?" I asked, turning around and moving my hair so he could zip it up.

After he zipped it, his hands rested on my waist and he put his head on my shoulder.

"Don't leave me tonight," Hayes said quietly.

"Aw baby, I'll be back in a few hours don't worry," I smiled and turned around, grabbing his cheeks and pulling his lips into mine for a split second.
