**Hayes POV**

Kate and I stopped at a coffee shop to catch up on each other's lives.

She's married now, with 5 kids...4 boys and a girl.

"How do you deal with all the kids running around your house?" I asked, taking a sip of coffee.

"Oh it's very difficult, but Aaron is so helpful. I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your boy. It must be very hard to loose a child."

"It is..Kelley is handling it very hard. It's been 3 months and things haven't settled down at all."

"Are you going to have another kid?" She asked.

"Eventually yes. We talk about it all the time, but the conversations always end up in tears for her."

My phone started ringing, so I excused myself from the table and answered it.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey Hayes, it's Kelley. What's taking you so long? I'm already home."

"Sorry, I ran into Kate and we stopped to have some coffee. I'll be home soon."

"A-alright," Kelley said and then hung up.

**Kelley's POV**

I hate being home alone. I always have nothing to do so my mind runs off, thinking about Josh. But this needs to stop. I can't spend the rest of my life moping around.

Deciding I can't can't stay inside on this beautiful day, I put a swim suit on and grab a towel and I headed out to the beach.

As I laid my towel on the burning hot sand, memories of when Cameron made me take those pills flashed though my mind.

Sometimes I miss him, he gave the best hugs, but the bad things he did to me outnumber the good.

"Kelley!" I heard my name being called, snapping me out of my thoughts. I turned around and saw Connor walking towards me.

"Hey," I said as he sat down next to me.

"How have you been? I haven't seen you in a while," Connor asked.

"I've been fine. It's been hard but I'm holding up." Lies. Im an emotional wreck.

"I'm glad to hear. What are you doing tomorrow night?"

"Nothing that I'm aware, why?"

"Remember than dinner that we never got to have? I was just wondering if you still wanted to do that." Connor said.

"I would love to, but I just don't know how Hayes would feel about that. See, when we first made those plans, Hayes I weren't in the best position. But now,"

"You don't need to explain, I get it. You're happily married. You don't need me."

"No Connor that's not what I meant," I pleaded. But he got up, wiped the sand off his butt, and walked away. I sighed, putting my head in my hands.

"Hey Kell, you okay?" I heard Hayes say behind me. He sat down and put his arm around my shoulders.

"Yeah, just stressed," I said and leaned my head against his shoulder.

"Aw baby, it'll all be fine in the end. We've just hit a rough spot in our lives."

"I want a kid," I blurt out rather quickly.

"Whoa whoa whoa. What?" Hayes asked. He was now staring at me like I was some exotic animal.

"You heard me. I think I'm ready."
