Walking through the mall really is refreshing compared to being in your little office room the whole day.
You've only been here once, when you were about 6 years old on a family trip, so you can't really remember much and all the places you went.
Having Jaehyung by your side, someone who knows this place like the back of his hand, sure is a great help.
The two of you enter the giant mall, all kind of different shops in sight, that you need a moment to take everything in.
"Sooo, where's our first stop?", Jaehyung ask turning around towards you.
"I would say any thrift shop here, to find cheap but cool pieces. If you know any!?"
"Sure, let's go underground."
You look at him in shock. Pointing to the roof, at least 4 floors higher, you say: "There's an underground floor too, to all of this?"
He chuckles, amused by your facial expression. "Yeah, silly. Welcome to Seoul City, I guess!"
This sure felt like a designers dream came true. So many clothing brands with beautiful pieces, you could spend days here and wouldn't be able to look at everything.
He takes you by your hand and starts walking, making your frozen ass move.
To your surprise, he doesn't let go of your hand, holding it firm but gently on your way down.
You don't know, how to feel about that fact. It feels nice, a little awkward, but probably because you've held hands with like two boys in your entire life. So why not play along, he at least didn't seem awkward about it at all.
Besides, it's pretty packed here, holding on to him, you won't get lost in this enormous mall.
You enter the first shop.
Your eyes sparkle by the sight of all the vintage pieces. You automatically let go of Jaehyung's hand and rush to the row in front of you.
Checking the price of the Racer T-Shirt, you can't help but do a little happy dance, it's barely $7.
If you'll find more of those pieces, you will have more than enough budget left for accessories and designer clothes.Jaehyung steps beside you and you quickly make use of him. You push the T-Shirt into his chest, "Jaehyung, hold onto this please, and don't let go."
Startled, he quickly holds onto it before it can fall on the ground. "Okay, ma'am."
You keep searching for matching pieces.
"By the way, is it okay, if I call you Jae."
"You can call me whatever you want. Jae, Oppa, ... I don't mind."
You side eye him jokingly as he mentions >>Oppa<<.
You might not been raised in Korea, but you're still familiar with the culture and everything else, and you knew exactly what that nickname implicated.
"You wish, Jae."
"It was worth a try.", he says with a smirk, shrugging his shoulders.
You keep nagging each other and joking around as you keep looking through all the stuff.
Time flies and Jae's arms are packed with all kind of clothes. He seems obviously exhausted.
It's a lot you can work with luckily.
"Okay, I think that's all for now."
He sighs relieved and walks towards the cashier.
"That would be, $156. With our additional discount ... $124 please, do you need some bags?", the cashier says, sounding bored.
