It really is him.
Bang Christopher Chan. The one, who was always there for you. The one, who could brighten your day, when kids been rude to you.
The one, who protected you.
The one, you secretly gave your heart to.
The one, who broke it and left you with all the peaces as he left Australia 8 years ago.And now he's standing right in front of you.
You would laugh over this happenstance but you don't feel like it. Your heart not even able to stop aching.
You want to disappear, to run away, just anything to get away from him and his damn dimple smile that he shows.
How dare he smile at you like that after all he did to you.
Don't he even realise? Isn't he recognizing you?
It must be.
You clench your fist out of anger and some other feeling you can't describe.
Just breath. You remind yourself as you feel your eyes tear up.
You don't want anybody to see you like this.
For fuck sake, it's your first day of work. Your first job in general, to be honest.
You have to put yourself together and be professional.
Ignore the emotion and keep calm. You need that job, otherwise you have to go back to Australia right away cause you won't be able to effort your apartment.
And that would mean, goodbye dream job. Goodbye dream place. GOODBYE DREAM LIFE.
That realisation is what you needed.
You become numb, just focused on work and put a brighter smile than Bang Chan on your face.
All the others introduced themselves but you can't remember any of their names.
You will have to look them up quickly, but now it's your turn.
"Hello guys.", you wave at them "Nice to meet you. My name is y/n and I'm very exited to work with you. Fighting!"
They clap and smile except Chan, instead of a smile he has a confused look on his face.
For a second you think he recognized you but since you told them your korean name -not the english one you went by in Australia- and your family name being quite common- you give up that thought and ignore his reaction.
You turn to Changwho, not sure what to do now.
He gets it by the first look at you.
Looking from you to the members he says: "She's going to be your new stylist and designer since Jihoo can't work at the moment. So after your practice please go to the fitting room so that y/n can measure you, guys."
He waits a bit before he continues.
"Do you have any questions for y/n?"
You look at them hoping there won't be any.
One of them, a boy with brownish hair and freckles raises his hand.
"What's it, Felix?"
"How old are you, you seem pretty young.", he asks with a deep voice you never expected cause it doesn't really match his appearance.
The other guys look stunned because of that bold question but also kind of interested.
You guess he's not that used to korean manners and habits, what makes sense, since he has an english ... no australian accent.
