Deku x Bakugo || "I love you more" | Spicy?

Chapter 7

The pain was unbearable as I stared at what I had done, the blood overwhelming me. I know he's there. I know Bakugo can see me in this mess, this mess I never wanted him to see.

My eyes were nothing but pure tears and my heart was screaming for help, but I just lay hopeless and immobile. I couldn't move. I don't want to move. Why did I do this?

   Bakugo even being near me made me want to rip my hair out and scream as loud as I could. Why does he even care if he has Teriyaki to smooch and lather all over?

    Surprisingly, Bakugo was resting near me, holding things I couldn't work out with my blurred vision.

   "I'm sorry," I cracked weakly, my head dizzy from all the pain and overthinking. I was like an overheating monitor, anytime I could shut down forever. My heart beat a little slower each time my arm stings with pain from Bakugo's soft, gentle hands.

  "Don't be," he whispered softly, his words the only thing holding me up. It was like a kiss every time I heard him, saw him curl his lips, feel him touch my bare scars. I felt guilty knowing he was worrying over me.

    "I'm here for you, Deku. You mean a lot to me, you are a great friend," Bakugo soothed, but I couldn't help but repeat the word in my head. Friend. I was just a friend to him, nothing more. I couldn't help but think about starting another round of sobs, but I held back for the sake of Bakugo. I couldn't pressure him more than I already had.

      Silence was followed after, with only the sounds of my grunts and groans of pain.

      "Why did you do this to yourself?" Bakugo finally said, looking sternly at my eyes now.
      My cheeks flushed in embarrassment, and I engaged eye contact with him. My heart beat faster as his eyes long for answers.

      "I have to go," I choked, instantly jumping and looking up at Bakugo, "thank you, so much, but I don't think we can be friends anymore."
       I ran as quickly as I came in, soon followed by more rounds of tears.
