I walked through the poorly lit street which is really risky to walk in at night, which I'm doing right now.

I look around for any bypassing muggers since I don't wanna get mugged today.

I heard an unusual noise coming from one of the dark allies so I decided to check out what the commotion was about.

I walked across the street as the cold breeze hit my skin sending shivers down my spine.

I finally reached my destination and saw..

My best friend and boyfriend kissing..?

"DUNCAN WHAT THE FUCK!" I shouted out loud seeing the sight of their lips connected.

They stopped kissing and Gwen ran away as I saw her crying, that rat had no reason to cry!

I grabbed Duncan's hand and slapped him hard leaving a red mark on his stupid face that i no longer wanted to see.

"It's over you bastard!" I said, the words I've been wanting to say for the longest time.

I ran after Gwen to fight her but saw her on the corner of the dark alley, crying.

Why is she crying? She doesn't get to cry! After all, she is at fault!

She saw me and got up then wiped her tears and tried to form words out of her filthy mouth.

"I.. Duncan forced me!" She said as she cried even harder. "No he won't!" I said, denying her evidence.

"C-court.. you're the only one," Gwen looked away and just ran, leaving her sentence uncompleted.

I got curious and tried not to go after her, but I still went after her, leaving Duncan staring at us both leaving the alleyway.

I looked for Gwen and saw her getting in a car but I ran after her and stopped her from doing so.

"Stop! You might get kidnapped." I whisper-yelled. "So what? I thought you despised me for kissing your boyfriend." Emphasizing the words 'Kissing your boyfriend.'.

"Listen, I still care about your safety because you're my friend." I said while forcefully grabbing her hand and taking her to a secluded place.

"Listen Court, I don't have time for this, tell me what you have to, now!" She said hinting at the fact she was clearly annoyed.

"I was supposed to break up with Duncan!" I said hurriedly in a panic she might leave before I said anything.

"So what? Why are you telling me this?" She said curiously as I tried to ignore the fact she was fighting off a smile.

"I-i like you..!" I yelled, covering my hand in a panic of what I just said.

"Pretend you never heard anything pl-" I felt something warm on my lips as my sentence got cut off.

It was Gwen's lips.

I kissed back, savoring the moment, we pulled away as Gwen was getting ready to say something.

"I was really forced Court! He pushed me against the wall and-" I put my index finger to shush her.

"So what? Now it's over." I said smiling as Gwen sighed before taking my hand.

"Can I come over to your house..?" Gwen asked shyly. "Of course! Anytime." I said happily.

"Like.. right now?" Gwen shot back, adding a question. "Of course!" I said before taking her outside the secluded area and led her to my car.
