Chapter 2: The Addams Family.

Wednesday's POV: 

I woke up the next morning to Enid packing her bag already. She had dark circles under her eyes which meant she hadn't slept. "Enid," I questioned. She didn't seem to hear me and that's when I noticed her "airpods" in her ears. I walked over and took one out of one of her ears. She looked over as I heard her ear-piercing K-pop playing insanely loudly in the earbuds. "Wednesday? You're up early," she said. "I could say the same about you Sinclair," I replied. "You didn't sleep did you," I asked watching her turn her music off and continue packing. "Oh, um, no not really," she replied looking down slightly. I sighed as I took her suitcase from her. "What are you doing," She questioned tilting her head like a curious puppy. "Bed. I will pack for you," I said. She obliged and laid in bed. I finished packing the rest of her things. Even though her atrociously colorful clothing was hard to look at I managed to pack them up. I looked over to check on Enid. She is sound asleep. I relaxed a bit and went back to my side of the room and decided to read while waiting for my parents to show up. (time skip: 2 hours later) I heard a knock on the door. I opened it up to see my parents and little brother Pugsly. "Mother, father, Pugsly," I said acknowledging them. "Hello my little storm cloud are you ready to go," my father asked. "Yes, I informed Enid she could stay with us due to her not being able to go back to her family this summer. I hope this doesn't damper any summer plans," I mentioned. Both my parents shook their heads and Pugsly smiled a little too wide. "Thank you." I walked over to Enid's bedside. I gently shook the wolf girl awake. "Sinclair, It's time to go," I said as she opened her eyes. She smiled and got up. Lurch came in and grabbed our luggage all the while Enid was thanking my mother and father profusely for letting her stay with us. She was very excited I could tell by her bouncing around on our way to the car. I stared out the window as Enid conversed with my parents on our way home. Eventually, I felt something heavy on my shoulder. Enid had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I sighed and glanced over at my parents who were giving me a surprised look. I glared giving them a look that said "this is not at all what you think," and looked back out the window.
