Chapter 3: The Estate.

Enid's POV: I must have fallen asleep cause the next thing I knew I was being woken up by Wednesday shaking my arm lightly. I looked out the window and my jaw dropped. "THIS IS YOUR HOUSE," I asked flabbergasted at the huge mansion I saw before me. "Yes, unfortunately, welcome to the Addams Family estate," she said getting out of the car and holding the door open for me. I was stunned. "I can't believe you got to grow up in this awesome house," I replied still in awe of the sheer scale of the mansion. "Come on, I will show you to your room. Mother and Father will call us for dinner I am sure," she said glancing over at her parents who nodded. I followed close behind her not wanting to lose her in this huge house. "This is my room," she said pointing out the room in front of us. "That one is the room you will be staying in," she mentioned gesturing towards the room right across from hers.  I walked in to see a large bed with navy blue sheets. The room was still very dark but it had much more color than the rest of the house. The dark purple wallpaper, the navy blue bed spread,  and the weirdest part the walk-in bathroom bathed completely in white tile. "Mother made sure to design this room with more color for any guests who don't tend to like the doom and gloom of my family," she mentioned. I guess she noticed how I was looking at the room in surprise. "I ... love it," I replied smiling. I could have sworn Wednesday turned a light shade of pink. "Anyway, my room is right next door if you were to require anything. Lurch will be here with your luggage any second now. I will leave you to settle yourself in," she said turning on her heel and leaving me in the large room. I sat down on the bed and pulled out my phone. I had gotten a couple of texts from Yoko since I left.  I made sure to text her back telling her I was fine cause I was able to stay with Wednesday and her family for the summer.  "Thank you lurch," I said with a smile as he set my suitcase down on the floor. I thought I saw a crooked smile shot back at me but I couldn't exactly tell. I texted back and forth with Yoko till I got a call. "Hello," I asked into the phone. "Enid you didn't call, "I heard. I had forgotten I was going to call Ajax. "Ajax I'm sorry I totally forgot I got caught up in everything that was happening," I said apologizing. "Yeah, I saw you leave with Wednesday. What's that all about," He asked in an accusing tone. "Ajax I told you my mom told me I couldn't come back. Mr. and Mrs. Addams allowed me to stay with them this summer so that I'm not at nevermore alone," I explained. He made a small sound " Uh-huh sure E. Forgive me for not believing Miss psychopath being okay with you staying around her place this whole summer," he said sarcastically. "Ajax she was the one that suggested it. I also seem to remember telling all of you guys to not call Wednesday names," I said getting slightly annoyed with him at this point. "Enid she is a psychopath and you know it. Why would you be willing to stay in a house with a girl who kills things for her own sick pleasure," he asked. At that point I was livid. "YOU KNOW WHAT AJAX FUCK YOU. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD SAY THINGS LIKE THAT ABOUT HER. SHE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO LET ME STAY WITH HER SO I WOULDN'T BE ALONE AND YOU CAN'T EVEN GIVE HER THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU RIGHT NOW," I shouted absolutely pissed at him now. He was quiet for a moment. "I can't do this anymore," he said. "So that's it? You're gonna break up with me over this," I asked. "You don't get it, and you never will. Goodbye Enid," he said and hung up the phone. I tossed my phone on the bed and decided to get a shower. I needed some time to myself to think. (Time skip: Shower) I got out of the shower wrapping a towel around myself. I was still red in the face from what happened earlier I walked out of the bathroom to see Wednesday standing in the doorway of the room. She instantly covered her eyes when she spotted me. "My apologies," she said still with her eyes covered. I turned extremely red from embarrassment. "That's okay," I quickly grabbed some clothes and booked it back into the bathroom. I came out a second later and sat on the bed. Wednesday came over and sat next to me. "I heard yelling earlier. I came to check on you but you were in the shower. Is everything okay?" she asked. I was glad she was asking to make sure I was alright. "Yeah, I just fought with Ajax and ... well we broke up," I said sadly, staring down at the ground. She looked over at me slightly. "*Sighs* I will allow you one hug," she said. My head shot upward at her statement. "Really," I asked making sure she was being serious about the whole thing. "Yes, but only one," she replied opening her arms for me. I hugged her tightly tears pricking the edges of my eyes. Wednesday would never know this but her hugging me was probably the best thing she could have done in a situation like this. As much as I love Yoko nobody's hugs could calm me down as well as my roommates. I don't know why but I always felt more at ease with Wednesday around. Sure she was weird as shit and I told her as much the first night I met her but she still knew just how to cheer me up when I was in a rut. "Thank you so much Wednesday, You have no idea how much this means to me," I said burying myself into her chest. "I- Sinclair, I am not the best with social cues and being in tune with the feelings of others but I believe breakups are hurtful. If you would like I am offering my company tonight. I would like to try my best to assist you in dealing with this rough situation by being a good f-fr-friend," She choked out the word friend but I could tell she was trying. "That's okay Wednesday. I know you're not really good at feelings and stuff. I'll be alright," I replied. Just then her parents called us both down for dinner. "We should get to dinner now," she said. "That sounds great I'm starving," I smiled.       

A/N: Wednesday is blushing. looks like someone realizing some feelings. We love a disaster lesbian and offering to help Enid through her breakup now how cute is that?
