It was the day that the other schools arrive. They will be arriving at dinner time. It's also a Sunday today so no lessons all day.
Charlie said that there is a Yule ball this year on Christmas Day. He's thinking of asking Millie. I think it's a good idea but he still isn't so sure.
Me and Charlie went and sat near the massive lake and watched as the new boats arrived. One looked like a warriors ship. Another looked more elegant like a princesses.
Rumour has it that they will be staying hidden away till dinner time.
Anyway it was now time for breakfast. We headed off to the great hall and sat down. We ate our food and sat and talked for a bit. Then we met up with Liam and Noah.
They are even closer than before. If that's possible.
We decided to chill outside for a while. So we all sat on the grass. Except Liam who decided to try and do gymnastics. He did a handstand and nearly landed on his head.
He then sat down with us. He didn't relax like we were. He was messing with the grass.
"Guys I'm thinking about getting a pet parrot" Liam announced as I sat up to look at him. I swear he hates nearly all animals.
"I swear you hate all animals" I made a point as Noah and Charlie agreed with me.
"No I like parrots I can teach it how to talk" Liam said.
"And where are you going to find one of them?" Charlie asked him. That was a stupid question obviously Hogsmeade.
"I'll catch one" Liam replied as Noah and Charlie sat up.
"I thought you were gonna say something smart like I'll buy one from Hogsmeade not catch one" Noah said as I agreed.
"Right let's say you where to try and catch one" Charlie said going along with it "Where would you catch it?"
"That's stupid, obviously parrot farm" Liam replied.
"Your joking right" I said as he shook his head.
"No why"
"Okay and where would you find a parrot farm?" Charlie said going along with it.
"I don't know Hagrid probably has one" Liam replied.
"That's a brilliant idea Liam" Noah said sarcastically. But Liam didn't understand.
"Aw thanks Noah see he agrees" Liam said as I sighed and lied back down.
"And I thought Longbottom was stupid" I said as Charlie and Noah laughed.
We all decided to go to Hogsmeade for a bit. I put on some nice clothes. Well a suit. As did Charlie and Noah. Liam however put on a jumper and trackies.
We arrived at Hogsmeade and went in the sweet shop. I decided to buy Liam some jelly slugs as he begged for some. Me Charlie and Noah practically bought two of everything and then paid.
Snape had taken me to Gringotts so I have plenty of money to spend. Even though my parents aren't the best they have allowed me to access. The black family vault which is full to the brim.
We then went in the joke shop that's run by Fred and George Weasley. They had everything in there even love potions.
We then went to the sport shop. Throughout all of our visits to Hogsmeade me and Charlie made friends with the owner.
"Charlie! Luke! How wonderful to see you!" Albie Weekes exclaimed from behind the register.
Albie is the one who owns the sporting shop. He's a Gryffindor but he isn't mean towards other houses.
"Nice to see you to Albie I'm looking for some new shin pads" Charlie replied as Albie walked over to a shelf. He passed Charlie some new shin pads and said that they were the best ones.
"We will see you later Albie!" I said as we all left the shop and headed for hogs head.
Hogs head is a pub. Normally we wouldn't be allowed alcohol due to our age. But the owner lets us have a butterbeer. He only lets us because he's scared of my parents.
We entered and he gave us four free butterbeers. Liam doesn't particularly like butterbeers so Noah normally drinks his. And instead Liam gets water.
We sat down at a table in the corner. We drank our drinks and I passed Liam his jelly slugs. It was getting close to Lunchtime so we decided to head back to the castle.
I had bought a bouncy ball that was 10 times the bounce. From Fred and George's shop. On the way back I kept bouncing it and it nearly got stuck in a tree. Liam ended up stealing it though.
We arrived back to the castle and went straight to the great hall for Lunch. I overheard Malfoy flirting to Pansy. However I'm pretty sure Astoria Greengrass likes him and he knows it. He's just choosing to mess with Pansy.
Pansy is ok I guess it's just Astorias nicer and well better.
I sat next to my friends and we began eating.
"I wanted to go to Drumstrang but Hogwarts letter came instead" Liam admitted. I didn't even know what drumstrang was until last week.
"Yeah my father said I have to go to Hogwarts since it's better" Noah said.
"I wanted to go to Hogwarts from the start" Charlie said as I smiled. My parents always wanted me to go to Hogwarts too. However they had already taught me most of the spells and potions.

It had been quite a long time since lunch. And now it's dinner. This is apparently when the new schools are going to be introduced.
We arrived at the great hall and sat down. Everyone seemed giddy and excited to meet the new schools. Since I'm only in my fourth year I can't actually put my name down for the tournament. Or else I totally would.
I heard that Cedric Diggory. George's brother. Is going to put his name in the goblet of fire. In order to put your name forward for the tournament. You have to put your name in the goblet of fire.
I also heard a rumour that the Weasley twins are going to try. However they are still too young to enter so I don't know how that's gonna happen.
We ate our food and waited for the new schools to be introduced. First it was the school that looked like warriors. Durmstrang.
"Please everyone welcome the school of Durmstrang!" Dumbledore announced as the great hall doors flung open.
A fast boy ran in at top speed and started flipping in the air. Another two boys ran in and started chanting something. Then more ran in and flipped about in the air. Then a massive line of boys stood next to each other came in and banged massive sticks on the floor. With every bang a fire spark came out.
All the boys from that school started to chant then an older man dressed in white walked in. He was the Headmaster. His name is igor. There was a boy in front of him. He is named Victor Krum. I've heard about him. He's the most popular out of that school.
Igor then walked up to Dumbledore and greeted him in a warm hug. I looked at Snape who was feeding evils into Igors head.
Then another school entered the doors. It was the girls one. The Beauxbatons. The girls came in dressed in light blue.
They had light blue hats on covering their hair. They leaned to the Gryffindor table and butterflies came out their hands. Then they leaned into the Ravenclaw table and Butterflies came out again.
I've got to say they were all very pretty. Me and Charlie watched carefully as they walked towards Dumbledore. I noticed Noah and Liam didn't however and just looked at the table.
Then a tall woman with short hair walked in. She must be the head of that school. She walked over to Dumbledore. He grabbed her hand and kissed it.
I looked at the Gryffindor table and saw Potter and Weasley try and talk to the Beauxbatons girls. They ignored Weasel and was more focused on Potter.
