WEN CHAO AMBUSH LOTUS PIER

Everything seemed like smooth sailing from their departure from Gusu to their arrival at  yumeng lotus pier. As they arrived early that morning both boys were greeted kindly by the sect leader and his wife wei Ying was so happy to see his uncle and aunt again and he couldn't wait to tell them the exciting news. Madame yu asked the disciples to prepare breakfast for the two visitors which they kindly accepted with no hesitation. During breakfast wei wuxian decided to tell  his aunt and uncle about his joy in which the couple were very happy to hear they were so excited to meet their new addition to the jiang family Madame yu was so excited to be a grandmother and she promise to babysit whenever wei Ying and his husband needed time for themselves. But all excitement slowly came to a end when young disciples rushed into the room shouting that lotus pier was under attack. Everyone made their way to the entrance and was ambushed by wen chao and his disciples they were showing no mercy to the lotus pier disciples and some even died from their injuries.

Uncle Fengmain drew his sword to fight but was stopped by wen chao demanding that he will only leave if he receives what he came for pointing to wei wuxian he asked in a angry annoying manner.

Wen chao: give me the yin iron and I will cause no harm to your family

Xichen:  we don't have the yin iron that you seek so please leave before I unsheath my sword

Wen chao laughed and grabbed jiang yanli placing his sword towards her neck making sure it was pressed deep enough to withdrew blood. Seeing his older sister in hurt wei wuxian decided to play the game in order to save his family.

Wei Ying: I will give you the yin iron but you have to let my family go no hurt should come to them if you betray my words I will find you and destroy you.

Wen chao agreed and let yanli go before wei Ying could continue his game with wen chao he turned towards xichen and asked him to take his family back to cloud recess for their safety he also asked him to protect wen qing and wen ning because he knows how much wen chao hurts them for his own satisfaction. Xichen agreed but was very worried for wei Ying and the baby everyone was but being stubborn he couldn't risk his family getting hurt.

Wei Ying: ok you smelly frog allow my family to leave here unharm first then you can fight me for the yin iron because surely I wouldn't give it to someone who doesn't bathe.

Wen chao being annoyed agree to let the family members go and keeping his promise xichen escorted the jiang family out of lotus pier and made sure they were safely on a boat then he looked at his beloved jiang cheng kissed his cheeks and told him that its his responsibly to protect wei wuxian if anything happens to him and the baby my didi will never forgive me I will return with him just please wait here. Jiang cheng  stepped out of the boat and said that he will flight alongside xichen because wei Ying was his brother and he needs all the help he can get.
