"I-" Reyna tries to figure out what to do but she is shocked and pauses. "I like you too, Sage," Reyna says confidently. Sage looks up at Reyna, shocked. Reyna smiles and looks at Sage softly. "But you said you didn't like anyone," Sage said, confused. "I just didn't think you felt the same.." Reyna's smile fades as she imagines a scenario where Sage says she doesn't like her back. Sage smiles happily knowing that Reyna feels the same. They both feel relieved that they got that off their chest. They enjoy each other's presence under the beautiful light of the moon that reflects off the lake. They both continue to talk to each other and feast on the picnic food.

When the fun night that seemed to last forever ended because they both were full and tired. They both packed up the picnic baskets, blanket, and other things they brought and put them in the trunk of Reyna's car. Reyna goes to the front of the car and again opens the door for Sage. Sage got into the car and thanked Reyna before she went into the driver's seat, and started the car. Reyna began to drive back to the VALORANT Station. It was around 8:40 pm when they left. Sage looked out the window, watched the lights and cars go by, and analyzed the builds and stores they passed. The flashing light made Sage close her eyes, nearly making her fall asleep. Sage had one hand on her lap and the other against her cheek, holding her head up. She felt someone's hand grab the hand on her thigh. Sage tiredly opened her eyes to see Reyna holding her hand. Sage blushed and looked at Reyna but Reyna seemed unphased as she continued to drive with a slight smile. Sage's grip on Reyna's hand loosens as she falls asleep halfway through the drive back to the station. Reyna continued to hold Sage's hand the whole time until they arrived back in the parking lot. Reyna slowly took her hand off Sage's before she pulled in so Reyna would be able to park the car. They returned around 9 pm. As Reyna parks Sage felt that they were there and opens her eyes and looked around to see the parking lot. Sage looked at Reyna to check on her, she was getting out of the car and she went over to Sage's door to open it for her. Reyna put her hand out kindly for Sage to grab, which she did and then Sage stood up and got out of the car. They walked through the parking lot to the front of the station and pushed the sliding glass door open. They were both welcomed by light as they stepped in. They looked around if anybody was awake, only a few but they were quiet just in case anybody was sleeping.

They return to the area where everyone's separate rooms are. They approach Sage's door and before she opens it she says goodbye to Reyna. "I had a lot of fun today," Sage said as she smiled at Reyna. "Yeah, me too. I hope we can hang out like this again Ling," Reyna smiles back at her. Sage turned a little red from Reyna's nickname. "I hope we can become a couple soon.." Sage quietly says. "Hm?" Reyna raised an eyebrow. "Nothing. Just.. never mind" Sage says while awkwardly chuckling to herself. She hugs Reyna and Reyna hugs her back. Sage had the strong urge to kiss Reyna right there at that moment, but she didn't want to move too fast. Plus she had never had her first kiss so Sage did not even know how to approach the situation, Sage over thinks. "Well I will see you tomorrow, bye Reyna," Sage says. "Mhm, see mi amor!" Reyna replied something in Spanish. Sage hugs Reyna before opening her door and going into her room. She glanced at Reyna before closing the door the way Reyna looked at her softly made her get butterflies. Seeing Reyna smiling made her happy.

She closed the door and tried to recall what she said she leaned against the door and went into thought. "Mi amor.." she repeated to herself hoping it would jog her memory but it didn't. All she could remember is that mi meant me. After pondering at the door she stopped leaning against the door and went into the bathroom to shower and change.

It was late so she rushed to get her routine done. Sage however did not mind that it was late because she got to spend time with Reyna. After She finished her shower and changed into more comfortable clothes she got into bed. Before bed, she read a book, her mind could not help but wander off and think about what have happened if she had kissed Reyna and she kept thinking about the word she called her. Sage kept having to refocus herself on her book. The fact that the book was a love story did not help either, but she kept reading hoping to distract herself. She came across this part though, it said "mi amor." That's what Reyna called her. She read on a little more and the book revealed what it said, my love. Sage blushed a little after she found out the meaning. That can't possibly be right, the book is lying, right? Although Sage wouldn't mind being called my love by Reyna it still sent her into shambles. She got out of bed to Google search what it meant, she could have done that in the first place but she didn't like new technology's complexity. She sat at her desk where her computer was and searched it, only to find out that is in fact what it meant.

Sage closed her computer immediately and went back into her bed. She stared at the wall and thought about it for a while. "I should probably go to bed before this keeps me up all night.." Sage thought to herself. She moved her book off her bed onto her nightstand and turned off her bedside lamp and the whole room was absorbed by the absence of light. She dove under the cover. She placed her head on the soft cotton bedsheets. The memory foam morphed to her curves bringing her instant comfort. The night was so tiring, she never stays up late so she fell deep into a dream-filled slumber.
