Everything hurts, the ache of something missing comes rushing back, no longer dulled but like the sickening taste of poison. Taehyung's head is spinning, pulsing with everything. He's over done it, yet the alpha feels it isn't enough, the pain remains which means it just wasn't enough.

He slowly and swiftly, allows his numb legs to move and tries to stand up on his feet, Taehyung's bloodshot red eyes trails all over the room again, he gulps back a wet sob again and walks towards Jungkook's cupboards, his fingertips brushed over the hard covers of numerous books arranged neatly on the top of it before he hastily tries to open the first cupboard with one of keys.

It doesn't open. He desperately fumbles the keys in his hand and tries yet another one. Almost after the third try, the lock finally opened with a small click. The alpha, without opening it's door goes for the second cupboard. Taehyung doesn't realise that how terribly his hands were shaking, the keys almost fell down from his hands.

Upon opening the lock of last cupboard, he finally let them fall over the floor, flinching at the sound because how vulnerable his state was.

So this was it? Jeonghan - he had the keys of Jungkook's room, his every cupboard?

He blinks his wet eyelashes before opening the door of first cupboard, and it's clearly not the first shock of that day for him. The alpha trails his helpless eyes all over inside, and those things seems to be mockingly him . . . smacking him hard with the reality.

They're Jungkook's gifts, each and every gift that he himself gave him. Even cupboard's Insides were decorated and there were numerous things - watches, perfumes, fancy boxes of sweets and chocolates - poetry books.

They looked like as if the omega never even touched them. They were only unwrapped. Taehyung's eyes fell over the small bin at the corner and his eyes watered yet again that Jungkook even kept those shiny gift wrappings and ribbons safe with him.

He somehow managed to open the second one and it had files - tons of files, polaroids, cut outs of the articles Jungkook wrote for newspaper, and his pictures posted alongside with them. SNU's magazines which he edited. Letters, a literal stack of letters and some seemed like as if the omega never read them or he never got the time. Numerous cards, certificates. Little colourful sticky notes for best wishes and luck.

His eyes found a certain sparkling keychain and it has a USB attached to it's end. Taehyung's forehead scrunched as he picked it up in his fingers, examining it before he shoved it inside his jacket's pocket.

The alpha inhaled deeply from his lungs, stood there emotionlessly for some minutes as he slowly crouches down on the floor, opening the door of the last cupboard with a heavy heart. And his eyes, almost came back to life when he found something he was maybe hoping for - Jungkook's diaries.

Taehyung knew that he used to write . . . he's the one who advised the omega to start writing a diary before he shifted to abroad for higher education.
