Jungkook whimpered, pushing back himself more on the rough concrete wall of the cell he was locked in. The omega bit his already bruised lips from all rough biting to not let even the tiniest of sound escape out of his mouth, as per order by the same police officer from earlier whose shadow was now looming over him, making him more terrified than he already was.
His uncle made sure that he gets torture to death until he speaks truth.
The officer takes a step forward, tapping his foot beside the omega's hunched form who flinched at the action, gulping thickly again and again. The man scratches his chin as per his habit, sliding a chair forward to sit in front of the quivering omega.
"The maid of the house said that you two were fighting before the incident, is that true?" The officer inquires, there's nothing but firmness in his cold tone. As if he's expecting nothing but truth.
Jungkook blinks his wet eyelashes, looking down at the floor as he nodded shakingly.
"What happened next?"
Th omega raises his head up slowly, peaking at the officer only for a second. He stayed silent at the question, looking down afterwards. But it was his mistake, because the next moment he was held by another police man who gripped his hair tightly in his fist to face him towards the head officer again.
The man leaned forward from the chair as he clutched the omega's chin tightly, "When I ask a question, I expect nothing but a clear answer, do you get it? Now tell me, what happened next?"
The grip on his hair by the other man tightens more, making Jungkook's eyes water as he parts his lips slowly to answer "W-we reconciled and t-talked —" The omega whispered in a hoarse voice.
"And you decided to kill him afterwards, isn't it?" The man says, tilting his head slowly.
"N-no I didn't —"
"Yeonbin!" The officer suddenly yells towards the entrance of the dark cell and a second later, another police younger police man came into the view, standing outside of the bars.
"Yes sir?" He addresses professionally.
"What was the name of that maid whom is the witness?"
"Lim Chaewon" Came a reply and the officer nods in amusement.
"Lim Chaewon" He repeats "The housemaid, whom is also working there for years gave a statement as a witness that she saw you giving sleeping pills to the victim before you physically abused him later and worst, murdered him. Do you have something to say on it?"
