While Kakashi was fighting in the arena, Might Gai was defending the hospital and all of its patients from a group of enemy shinobi. Every time he dealt with one it seemed like three more popped up to join the fray. The other medical ninja were scrambling around behind him trying to evacuate as many patients as they could, while also trying to help in any way that they could. Eventually the numbers were getting too out of control as the hospital started getting overrun. Might Gai knew he had to start going all out, if the medic nin and patients had any hope of getting out of this without any further injuries. Taking a steadying breath Gai immediately opened the sixth gate, as he began to pick apart the collected offense unit targeting the hospital.
Meanwhile with Shisui he was started to make a dent in the horde of nameless shinobi prepared to pay their lives down for Danzo. Shisui could feel himself starting to feel weaker as he had to use a lot of chakra just to continue to push toward Danzo. Shisui knew that this is what Danzo had planned. To wear him down with numbers so that when the two eventually came face to face it would swing the encounter in Danzo's favor. Shisui knew Danzo never left things to chance and always hedged his bets toward the side of caution other than risk. That was what led to Danzo taking his eye afterall, he didn't want to leave the Uchiha problem up to a possibility of it working. He wanted a certain, tangible, and thought out out solution. That's how Danzo always was, and always will be, up to the point that Shisui shoves his katana through his heart anyway.
Over with Asuma he was rushing as fast as he could toward the academy which was just rocked with an explosion. As he was approaching the front gates, he noticed that he was accompanied by Sasuke and Sakura. He didn't even break his stride as the two genin sped along with him. Asuma immediately began barking orders at the two. "I'm glad for the support, but these guys will most definitely be out of your league. So I want yoh to leave the fighting to me. What I need you guys to do is help protect the children and help the teachers evacuate, and then check for any survivors of the explosion. You got me?" Asuma would ask in an authoritarian tone. Sasuke and Sakura would nod their heads in affirmation as they tell Asuma that they understand. Upon passing through the gates of the academy, they daw absolute chaos. Kids were crying and cowering in fear as the few chunin teachers that were there that day were trying to defend them with their lives. There was rubble lying everywhere along with countless enemy shinobi. Sakura acted quick as she formed an earth wall separating the enemies from the teacher, who turned out to be Iruka, and all of the kids. Asuma and Sasuke then went on the attack as Sasuke used his signature giant fireball jutsu and Asuma used his burning ash jutsu to scorch and incinerate the few enemy shinobi who didn't get out of the way. Forcing them back as Sakura dropped the wall, and led the kids away. Sasuke did the same with another group of kids. The two did this over and over again as Asuma and the teachers held off the enemies.
Over with Hiruzen and Orochimaru their decade long history was reaching and apex that the V.I.P. booth couldn't contain it. As the roof literally blew off of it as the two moved their encounter toward a group of buildings a few blocks away from the arena. The sound four moved into their position as they sealed the two inside. From there the two exchanged jutsu after jutsu as only two kage level shinobi could. Every fire dragon was canceled by a water wall, which was blown away by a great breakthrough, which was used to help make a fireball jutsu more powerful. This was blocked by a earthwall, which in turn was destroyed by a lightning dragon. Amidst the rubble and dust Hiruzen used tile shuriken jutsu which Orochimaru countered with snake lightning as they disintegrated. Orochimaru then sent a barrage of earth missiles toward Hiruzen who himself countered with a handful of explosive tag wrapped kunai. Once the smoke cleared from the explosion, the two stood opposite of each other as equals.
Back over with Gai at the hospital he was making quick work of the enemy shinobi, but Gai isn't much of a gentle fighter especially with six gates open. So the flurry of high impact strikes was starting to wear down on the walls and foundation of the hospital. Gai knew that not everyone had evacuated yet as he sent another enemy flying through a wall. 'At this rate the whole hospital will collapse before everyone is able to make it out. I have to do something, but I these guys aren't letting me get any breathing room.' Gai thought to himself as he defeated another few enemy shinobi. Just when Gai thought he was getting overwhelmed he heard someone from his left yell out Eight Trigrams: Air Palm as several enemy shinobi went flying. Looking to his left Gai saw Hiashi Hyuuga standing there helping him fight off the enemies."This while place is about to come down." Hiashi told Gai as he took out a couple of enemies. "I'm aware." Was all Gai said as he connected with a spin kick sending an enemy flying into two more. "Any ideas then?" Hiashi asked as four enemies were blown away by an air palm. "I have one, but I need you to cover me while I do the signs." Gai said as he punched one last enemy out of the way before doing the hand signs. "Hand signs from you, you must ne desperate then." Hiashi joked despite the current circumstances as he was on the middle of using the sixty-four palms technique on the enemies at once. "Desperate times call for desperate measures. Summoning Jutsu." Gai exclaimed as he slammed his bloody palm onto the ground, before leaping back. Hiashi did the same as the space they were just at was taken up by a huge turtle almost as big as Gamabunta. Immediately upon being summoned in a tight pla e the last two support beams holding the hospital up were blown away, but the turtle's shell was able to hold the hospital up.
