WAY YOU ARE, DANIEL ELLSWORTH
"Can i have 2 cappuccinos please." Dee placed her order at her local coffee shop before her shift.
Making her way out of the store, spotting the car pull up just intime. She grinned to herself watching her cousin, Angela Lopez torment her rookie. "Get me 2 cappuccinos, extra shot- oh and two blueberry muffins. Heat them up boot! And dont get them wrong!."
Her rookie, a tall, young looking black man gave her a warm smile before running into the coffee shop Dee had just left. Scrunching her brows, slightly smiling while entering the passenger door of the police car.
"Sometimes i wonder if i chose the right career path." Dee through out loud, handing Angela her coffee.
Angela chuckled out, taking a sip from her coffee before saying. "Tormenting rookies are like a breath of fresh air."
Dee hummed in agreement, "last time we had a pogie was five months ago when buck first joined."
"The hot firefighter?" Angela quipped, making Dee choke on her coffee.
Chuckling at her cousin who had just choked on her coffee, Dee tilted her head at the woman who just looked back in amusement. "No, no- not doing this" she shook her head looking straight ahead.
"Why tho?" Angela questioned, "you can't be sulking in your ex boyfriend's engagement with cousin Mariana forever."
"I'm not sulking."
Angela fixated her look on her cousin, "Yes, you are. So stop being miserable and go get a taste of that hot- 6 feet thing of a man."
"Not funny." Dee rolled her eyes before taking another sip from her coffee, she gulped. "Besides, he's seeing Abby."
"Mhm." Angela smirked, "The 40 year old 911 operator?" She questioned.
Dee nodded back answering her question, she looked back at Angela to have her watching her with a slight grin.
"what?"
