Halfway into the day, and it was already chaos.
Eda put fake spiders in the teachers coffees, and two smoke bombs in the corner of the teachers lounge, causing all the teachers to run out when they went off and 2 hours locating the smoke bombs, and raine, being her arch nemesis and all, tried to do a better prank by putting speakers in the vents, and playing creepy noises, then put soap and oil all over the hallways, causing at least 3 teachers and 15 students to fall and pass out, needless to say, it was chaos and a disaster, eda crossed the pranks off her list, while raine took a few more pictures of eda while she wasn't looking, but of course, the teachers couldn't prove it was them, and didn't do anything.
"Come on lily! You gotta admit the reaction on the history teachers face was good!"
"You mean how his reaction was the same as the last 5 times you put fake bugs in his coffee?"
Lilith rolled her eyes while continuing to read her history book about world war 2.
"Well I don't see you coming up with better prank ideas."
Lilith scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"That's because I'm actually trying to learn!"
"Hey! I get good grades too!"
"Speaking off better prank ideas....."
Eda looked up and saw raine coming towards her, with Darius behind.
"Oh nooo, to what do I owe this displeasure?"
Raine rolled their eyes, and flicked edas forehead.
"I came up with better pranks, I mean, fake bugs in the history's teachers coffee? Unoriginal, I actually did some damage other than people running around screaming."
"Me? All you did was give people a free trip to the ER."
And they continued bickering while Darius left Raines side and went beside Lilith.
"Hey."
"Hey."
"How do you put up with this?"
Lilith asked, genuinely tired of raine and edas constant arguing, and that's when Darius got the great idea for some ✨drama✨.
"I'll let you in on a secret, but in return you have to help me with a few favors."
"Fine, I'll do anything to get them to shut up."
Darius went closer to Lilith and whispered in her ear.
"Raine has a crush on eda."
Liliths jaw dropped.
"You're joking."
Darius got his phone out and showed her the pictures of Raines vision board, and let her hear the audios of raine talking about how pretty eda was, or how much they loved her, Lilith was flabbergasted.
"Wait, if they like her so much, why are they her arch nemesis?"
"They did that because they thought her pranks weren't good enough, but later on they started to fall for her."
"Talk about cheesy romance films, wait, what are the favors you need help with?"
"To get them together."
Darius smirked, while Lilith froze for a few moments, processing that.
"Alright, fine, as long as it'll get them to shut up."
A few day passed, and surprisingly eda was in class, she did this a few times to actually learn, or the more common thing, she would study the vent systems for her pranks, or if there was a substitute, she would take every chance she got to prank them, how she knew there was gonna be a substitute? She'd sneak into the principals office or the teachers lounge (wherever school keeps important files) and steal schedules and come on the days there were substitutes, but whenever she was there to actually study, she would answer every question correctly, which had every teacher amazed, if it wasn't for her constant troublemaker activity.
While eda was in class, raine would doze off looking at eda and sneakily taking pictures of her, the way they looked at her, they had a goofy smile on their face and was leaning on their hand, Darius saw and just sighed.
"I hope this plan works." Darius thought.
That's when the bell rang. "Alright everybody, there's a field trip next week, remember to get your parents or legal guardians to sign your permission slips or else you can't come!"
The teacher handed everyone a permission slip on their way out.
"A field trip lily! Imagine what pranks I can play on the teachers there! I hope I don't fall asleep early again."
Eda beamed while Lilith sighed, the first time there was a field trip, eda of course pranked the teachers, and it ended up getting canceled early, so now every time there's a field trip, Lilith drugs her with cough drop, eda hasn't figured it out yet.
While Darius complained about the field trip.
"Ugh, I hope it isn't outdoors again, I hate the dirt, hiking especially."
"Darius, you can't not expect dirt when you're hiking." Raine said, confused.
"That's what I'm talking about! What does hiking do? Literally nothing, and it's so dirty, if I trip I swear....."
That's when raine saw eda, they decided not to call her since they were her enemy after all, they couldn't constantly talk to her, but then a boy walked up to eda and held her hand.
3rd person pov :
The boy came up to eda and held her hand up, which startled both eda and Lilith, eda a little more.
"Uh can I help you?"
The boy had brown hair and black eyes, he was also taller than eda, he held up edas hand, and looked her in the eyes.
"Hi, I'm Ronan, I was wondering if you could go out with me? I mean for studying and all! I heard you get good grades every though you hardly attend class, I'd like to know how you do it, my grades suck."
Eda processed that, and nodded.
"Sure, I'm eda." She shook his hand, but if you noticed, ronans lips curled into a smile, while raine ran over to eda, leaving Darius behind.
"Wow, the troublemaker shaking hands with someone? That's new."
Raine said, internally screaming.
"Let go of her! Shes mine! Stop touching her!"but those are just thoughts.
"Don't touch her hand, she probably has glue on them." And pulls ronans hand away from eda, though their grip was quite strong and Ronans eyebrows furrowed.
"Excuse you! I wouldn't stick myself to random strangers! Sorry, they're always like this, it's very annoying."
Ronan pulled his hand away, mostly because his hand would quite literally break if he didn't pull back.
"It's fine, I doubt someone as cute and pretty as you would do something like that anyway."
He winked at her at the end of his sentence, which painted edas cheeks a tint of pink, and raine gritted their teeth.
"So dingus, who's your new friend?"
Raine said trying not to punch him.
"I'm Ronan, nice to meet you, random person that loves to insult eda."
Ronan was being sarcastic, and Darius who had happened to see everything pulled raine away before they pounded on him.
"Wha-Darius!"
Darius pulled them far away to their locker.
"Darius! You should've let me at him!"
"And what? You're gonna say you don't want eda to have any friends?"
"Maybe! I don't know!"
"If you did that, she would probably get even closer with him, we both saw Ronan was obviously flirting with her."
Raine stopped, and Darius led them towards their next class.
"Ugh! But that smug face! He looks horribly ugly! And how he was speaking with her! Did you see that! Obviously flirting horribly!"
Raine continued to ramble about him, when Darius stopped him.
"Well you should probably stop being mean to eda, or at least stop insulting her pranks and calling her names."
"Why?" Darius looked at them like they were stupid.
"Let me put it this way, if you insult her and say what she's doing is wrong, while Ronan compliments her and talks to her nice, who do you think she would choose between the two of you?" Raine immediately clicked.
"Shit, Darius, what if she already hates me? Oh god I could lose her!"
Darius saw that raine was on the verge of tears and didn't know what to do, thankfully the bell rang and they both got to class, that's when Darius texted Lilith in class.
