This was far from fun. Hannah stood at the flag area; it was boring. Why would Luke put her here? The girl readied her bow as she saluted jokingly to the empty air around her.

Nothing was happening, and she was starting to feel a bit silly standing there doing absolutely nothing. She whistled, sang, danced—anything to pass the time, she wished some action would happen already. Suddenly, she heard a rustling in the bushes nearby. Her heart skipped a beat as she jumped, slowly turning to the source of the noise.

"Now!" A voice in the bushes spoke as some people rushed out.

"Holy..." She stopped as she went for her bow.

Very quickly, she was swarmed by a group of people in red, the opposing team—no Clarisse, though. Hannah's heart pounded in her chest as she realised what was happening—she was getting ganged up on. She fumbled with her bow and eventually pulled back the string of her bow and released an arrow, hitting one of the red team members square in the shoulder. It was no use, as the rest of them came after her.

They were going to take the flag, and she couldn't do anything; she put out her hands and...

"Rumble, rumble!" The earth shook as the opponents dropped into the ground, swallowed up by the earth itself; only their upper bodies could be seen as their legs were buried. Hannah stood in shock, looking around at the now submerged fighters. She couldn't believe what had just happened.

Hannah paused as she ducked to their level. "So, how have your days been?" She chuckled nervously.

"Pretty alright, before you buried my legs in the ground." The girl with short blonde hair spoke with a hint of annoyance in her voice. Hannah couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. The blonde-haired girl gave in and let out a chuckle.

"Sorry about that; I would undo it if I could." Hannah smiled before continuing. "So, what's your name?"

"I'm Quinn, Dionysus Cabin; I'm guessing you're the new girl." Hannah nodded, relieved that Quinn seemed to be taking the whole situation fine. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood."

"Yeah, I'm Hannah; I don't know what cabin I'm in yet."

Quinn grinned and reassured Hannah, saying, "Well, welcome to Camp Half Blood then, and don't worry, you'll find out soon enough." Hannah was grateful for Quinn's friendly and welcoming demeanour. "I don't know why, but I have a feeling it's something to do with the ground." She continued as the two laughed; Quinn's teammates weren't taking it as well as they had their heads down.

After some time of the two talking, Hannah would hear cheers from the other side as her team rushed towards their flag with the red team flag in hand. They all stopped as they saw Hannah crouching down next to the submerged opposition. Some laughed, and others just stared.

"What happened here?" Luke stammered, confused, as Chiron galloped over to see what was going on.

"We won. Yay?" Hannah would say, slightly worried, as everyone had their eyes on the scene before them. Chiron inspected the situation, his brow furrowed in concern. The rest of the campers gathered around, murmuring amongst themselves.

Hannah stood up, brushing off the dirt on her hands. "I don't know what happened," she spat out, trying to prove her innocence. Luke shook his head in disbelief.

Chiron spoke up as he looked down upon the scene. "I only know of three Olympians who are able to do this: Hades, Poseidon, and Demeter."

Hannah paused as she realised what Chiron was saying, and a smile appeared on her face. "Ok, then, that means my dad has to be Hades or Poseidon, right?"
