Hannah had been at Camp Half Blood for a couple years now, and she's made a couple friends along the way. She stands close to the swordfighting area as she watches Clarisse shout at the people she's training. Clarisse's booming voice echoes across the training grounds, causing some campers to flinch.

"You four! Stop slacking unless you want to spar with me." Clarisse would shout angrily as the four campers scrambled to get back to their training.

Hannah would skip over to the swordfighting area, ready to talk to her friend Clarisse after she finished yelling at the campers. Hannah stood behind Clarisse and would cover the curly-haired girl's eyes with her hands, causing Clarisse to jump in surprise.

"Guess who?" Hannah would say with a grin.

"Annabeth?" Clarisse would guess in jest. Hearing this, Hannah would deliver a playful hit to Clarisse as she uncovered her eyes. Despite her tough exterior, Clarisse had a soft spot for Hannah; everyone at camp could see it. Clarisse had been somewhat of a bully at camp, but she never did it around Hannah.

"Ohh, it's you, Hannah; I had no idea." Clarisse said jokingly as she turned to meet her friend's gaze. Hannah would roll her eyes at Clarisse's response.

"How are you? I haven't seen you today; I thought you were hiding." Hannah smiled as she shoved Clarisse lightly.

"Sorry, I've been busy; Chiron gave me a bunch of tasks." Clarisse sighed as she yawned; she wasn't even halfway done with the chores.

"I can help you with them if you need it." Hannah offered, seeing that Clarisse could use a hand.

"To be honest, that would hel-." Clarisse would be cut off by a blonde-haired girl with a sword in her hand.

"Are we going to continue the lesson or not?" The girl would shout from her area.

Clarisse would roll her eyes as Hannah smiled at her friendly face. Quinn would smile back at her.

"Hey, Quinn, my favourite Dionysus girl." Hannah walked up to her friend and hugged her, and it would be returned.

"There shouldn't be much competition; I mean, it's me." Quinn would bow jokingly as Hannah chuckled.

"How's the sword work?" Hannah asked.

"I've learned a lot more moves; you wouldn't know them, don't worry." Quinn grinned as she played around with her blade.

"Wow, I'm offended; you know what I'm joining; let's spar, me and you right now." Hannah smiled as she picked up a blade from the ground and got into a stance.

"You sure?" Quinn raised an eyebrow. "If you say so."

The two would begin: Hannah was clearly outmatched, as she was terrible with the blade. Quinn easily dodged and countered every move Hannah made. Quinn was competitive, similar to Clarisse, as she slashed at Hannah. Quinn finally disarmed Hannah with a flourish, ending the match with a victorious grin. When she pulled back her blade, a crimson liquid stained it.

Hannah looked down at her hand, seeing a cut across her palm.

"I guess I need to work on my sword fighting skills a bit more," Hannah said with a chuckle, wincing at the sight of her bleeding palm.

Quinn immediately dropped the victorious face and rushed to Hannah's side, concern on her face. "I'm so sorry; I didn't mean to actually hurt you."

"Quinn, what the fuck! Get away from her." Clarisse would yell angrily, storming over to where Quinn and Hannah were.
