Yves

I don't think Dr Docktor was expecting me to arrive this quickly. Perhaps he has forgotten what I am, or maybe he's just a lot stupider in this universe. Nevertheless, I was tasked with training Noah, and I wanted to complete this task. Hopefully he isn't as much of an ass here. It looked like Doc was in a rush to get me to Noah, as he had no hesitation in pulling me towards the Medbay and introducing me to Noah. It felt... Weird, seeing him as a human. Although I can't say much, when I first got my human form, it felt just as weird.

"Noah, is it?" I asked. Noah nodded, looking a little nervous. Damn, this version of No-Visor is almost unrecognisable. But that wasn't the main point, and I needed to start training him. I lead him away to an open area of the red plains, and conjured up some targets.

"We're going to start off simple. So, just show me what you know first, and we can continue from there." I explained to him.

Noah didn't hesitate and grabbed a sword that I assume he had stolen from Dr Docktor and started slashing some of the targets. He also demonstrated his ability to externally manipulate ink, and he even snuck up on a few of the targets, (and me) using his invisibility. I was impressed. But now we had a starting point, and I was ready to teach him the rest.

I was happy that Yves was so impressed with my abilities. However, I know that I have a lot more to learn. I'm excited!

"It's clear that we don't need to start from square one, which is going to save us a lot of time." Yves explained with a smile on her face. "But I have a system now. Each day we are going to spend 4 hours on adding to your abilities and developing them to your full potential. That way we can have you fully developed and ready to fight in 10 days, leaving you 11 days until you fade." I got the gist, but I still had some questions.

"Would this include regaining my memories? And why 4 hours specifically?" I asked. Yves cleared her throat.

"Most of your memories should return by the time I'm finished here. But there will be gaps, that I'm certain about. It has to be 4 hours because any shorter and we wouldn't have you ready on time, and any longer and we'd tire you out. You're not what you used to be. You're more human now. And humans need rest." Yves finished before conjuring some more targets. "Now. Let's get to learning."

Yves walked over to me and put her hand on my shoulder.

"We're going to start off with something you should get the hang of pretty easily. Teleportation."

And so the lesson began.
