{Chapter_11/Break_The_Chains}

Dr Doktor

It had been around an hour since I sent the four to find the other two survivors. I was still watching over Mr Cheese, and to me dismay, he was definitely becoming more aggrivated... More hostile... More... Lost... My thought's were interrupted by Ria coming over to me with a frown on her face.

"Could you please manage your boyfriend? He's scaring Blondie and Baggy." She asked. I really didn't like the idea of having to leave Mr Cheese, but I knew I was the only one who could reason with him. I asked Ria to keep a watch over him while I checked up with him. Honestly, trying to reason with him every day is hell, but I still do it. Because despite my initial thoughts, Duncan isn't that awful. Ever since... That... Incident, where I lost my visor, I got to know Duncan, and so even though my initial intention was to save my son, maybe I've realized some other things too.

[???]: Like the fact you're bisexual?

NO, ONYX! But you get the point. Turns out Duncan is just a lost man trying to find purpose. I thought this over as I was going over to Duncan to try and steer him away from the not-yet-official couple. Oh we had excellent times together. Being in the No-Visor cult isn't as bad as it initially seems. I still feel bad for stabbing Duncan in the visor though, especially when we were becoming so close. I did say to him he could injure me back, but-

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" I was cut off by Ria screaming, and the sound of a door being bashed open. Mr Cheese had escaped. And by the looks of it, he wasn't in control.

I immediately followed behind Dr Doktor after the scream was heard. It was true. Mr Cheese was no longer in control. Ardein and Pylare had taken over. I stayed a good distance away, while Dr Doktor got his katana to prepare and kill him if things got out of hand. Which we hoped wouldn't happen. But in all seriousness it probably would. I hid in vault as I watched the scene play out. I saw Dr Doktor slowly approached Mr Cheese to get him to calm down.

"Mr Cheese, please don't do anything rash, this isn't you-" He was quickly cut off by Mr Cheese trying to grab at his arm. It was clear that this was no longer Mr Cheese.

"Hello, father."  The voice of Ardein rung out. Dr Doktor visibly froze. It had been so long since he had heard this voice, and to hear it talking against him must be so disheartning. He unfroze just as quickly as he froze and put the blade up to Mr Cheese's throat.

"Let go of him, Aiden." He said firmly. As if that made Ardein intimidated in the slightest. His laughter echoed throughout the halls.

"You really thought I would let him go that easy? You're a fool, father. You always have been. You never realize anything until it's too late." You could hear the complete disdain and hatred in Ardein's voice as he spoke cautiously. And that last sentence was a warning because I immediately noticed Mr Cheese's hand about to go for Dr Doktor's visor. (Or what was left of it anyways.) I quickly got my gun out and fired a distraction shot, allowing Dr Doktor to stab Mr Cheese's heart. None of us wanted this but it had to be done. It was too much of a risk keeping him around.

Baggy must've heard the gunshot because it wasn't long after that he came in. He wasn't squeamish this time, however. Instead, all he said was:

"Could we use this corpse to make a cure for the others?"
