Husk and I both looked towards the door quickly to see Angel Dust walking, I could tell that he was trying to not make any noise. He looked rough and seemed like he needed a break, when Husk saw him, he scoffed and rolled his eyes turning around to continue cleaning what glasses were left.
Angel turned to us not expecting us to be there especially not me, "What are y'all doing awake?" He asked in a quiet tone, "I could ask you the same thing coming in this late," I said as he sat beside me looking me up and down at my attire.
"I was working. Val has been making me do shoot after shoot and its tiring. Pussy cat mind pouring me a drink pretty please," Angel said in a flirty tone as Husk snarled and poured him some alcohol in a cup. I continued to sip my own before I said, "Val is your boss I'm assuming? What do you do?" I didn't want to assume that the ad I had saw was really him.
He grabbed his cup and shot the whole drink in one gulp, "I'm a porn star," I couldn't help but take a look at his body, realizing how feminine it really was, I honestly wasn't surprised to learn that.
I nodded before asking one of the stupidest questions imaginable, "Is it fun?" Angel looked at me with his eyebrow raised and Husk let out a small chuckle before Angel responded, "I mean, fucking 30 people a day used to be but now it's kind of boring," I blushed at hearing that answer before drinking again.
"Were you looking for some action tonight coming down here in practically nothing?" He said as he softly pulled the sleeve of my robe making it fall down my shoulder as I quickly pulled it back up and stuttered, "No, I just wanted to explore hoping no one was awake."
He hummed in response before yawning loudly and getting up, "Well, I'm heading off to bed. If y'all fuck, don't leave me out of it," he said before he walked up the stairs and I was left with just Husk.
I could feel my face become hot from that comment and I decided to gulp down the rest of my drink while Husk snarled in Angel's direction. There was a part of me that was hoping Husk had forgotten about our conversation and that I didn't need to respond to him anymore because to be honest I don't know the answer to that.
The cherry sat at the bottom of the glass as Husk turned around to look at me as I said, "I'm assuming you don't like Angel?" he shook his head before explaining, "He's always coming onto me when I don't ask him to, you can tell that he's being fake and it gets annoying," I nodded not to agree with him but just to let him know that I was listening.
My head was starting to hurt, and I decided it would be time for me to go to bed so I slowly got up from the chair losing my balance from how high the chairs were, "You okay?" he asked coming from around the counter over to me.
"Yeah, I'm fine just lost my balance," I said as he looked at me concerningly, "I can walk you to your room if you want," Husk said politely as I shook my head softly.
"I can manage, thank you though," I began to walk towards the staircase as I could feel his eyes burning the back of my head; I didn't feel drunk, but my head was defiantly hurting. Probably from the amount of sugar in the drink, but it was a bit later now and I don't know what else to expect for tomorrow, but it seemed like I needed rest.
I continued my walk down the hallway before getting to my door, the door swung up with me barely putting any pressure meaning I didn't close it all the way. Upon walking in I made sure the door was fully shut before taking off my shoes, and robe laying down underneath the cover.
My hair was going to be a complete mess in the morning since I was going to sleep with it wet, but I didn't care at the moment. I didn't know who my neighbor was but form the walls I could hear soft music playing. I never liked to sleep in the quiet; when I was alive, I would always listen to music or watch a video to sleep.
So, it was very easy for me to drift off to sleep with the mellowed-out melodies.
