Simon and Amanda were eating lunch in his office. It had become their tradition to do it every Tuesday and Thursday. A month had already passed since the beginning of the school year, marking the beginning of October.

"Come on, Simon. I saw the way that you look at David. You were staring at him yesterday in the faculty meeting," Amanda spoke. She took a bite of her sandwich. "It's obvious that you have romantic feelings for him. You talk about him all the time with me. The two of you are constantly together and he looks at you the same way. You need to act on it before it's too late. I know he's single."

"Amanda, I don't even know if he feels the same about me," Simon responded. He put down his sandwich. He wasn't that hungry. He was nervous at the idea of telling David how he felt. "How do I look at David?"

"The way that you used to look at Lauren when you loved her," Amanda responded simply. It was well known with his friends how much Simon had loved Lauren and how devastated he had been when they had broken up.

"Really?" Simon asked. He didn't believe it. He wanted to hear it from David instead. He would believe David that Simon was looking at him in that way.

"Yes!" Amanda responded. "You need to ask him out or at least realize that you have a crush on him. Act on it!"

Simon chuckled. Amanda had been trying to set him up with people throughout the years after he and Lauren had broken up. He didn't have much interest in it though. The last time he had dated, it hadn't worked out and Simon didn't ask the man to be his boyfriend since he could tell it was already fizzling out after a few dates.

"I'll think about it," Simon conceded. "I don't know if he feels that way about me."

"Ask Alesha. She would know. She's David's best friend at work."

David was sitting in his classroom, marking papers that needed to be put into the grade book. He preferred doing it by hand first and then putting them into the grading software so he would catch any mistakes. It took longer but he didn't mind it. It kept his mind occupied. It had been filled moments ago with thoughts of Simon.

"Hi, David," Alesha greeted, coming into the classroom. David looked up in acknowledgment.

"Hello, Alesha. Do you need something?" David asked. He set down his pen to give Alesha his full attention. Alesha grinned. She was up to something. He could always tell when she grinned like that.

"Yes, I do," Alesha responded. "I'll get straight to the point. I saw how you were looking at Simon yesterday during the staff meeting. He looks at you the same way. Amanda and I have been seeing it all month since the two of you met. You even touch each other way more than other friends do. Haven't you noticed that?"

"I haven't," David admitted. "Do we touch each other a lot?"

"Yes, you do. You're always reaching for pencils at the same time as Simon and the both of you blush like school boys whenever your hands touch and Simon wheels himself so close to you that he's almost touching you whenever you walk together," Alesha responded. She had observed quite a bit during the month that the two men had known each other. "You need to do something about it."

"For example, asking Simon on a date?" David questioned. He shook his head. "I know he's bisexual but I'm not sure if he's attracted to me, 'Lesha. He hasn't said anything."

"Then that just means that you need to be the one to make the first move," Alesha stated. "He's definitely attracted to you. Have you even come out to him?" David nodded. That had been the subject of one of their late night texting sessions last week and Simon had been more than accepting of David being pansexual. David didn't rule out being in a relationship with someone of the same sex as him. He rather liked the idea of it.

"I'll try talking to him. There's no guarantee of when I'll do it though," David responded, making up his mind. This would need to be a conversation done in private between him and Simon, in person. David didn't want to ask Simon if he had romantic feelings for him through a text. It seemed too personal of a question to ask Simon through text. He would also need to sort out his own feelings about the man.

_

Simon glanced at his phone. Normally David would have already texted him by this time at night. They normally talked after Simon had put Eric to bed. Eric had been asleep for an hour and Simon was getting ready for bed himself. He thought briefly about the idea of getting ready for bed with David. Of seeing that body naked of his. Simon shook the thought from his head.

Amanda was infecting his thoughts if he was thinking about David that way. Although it did seem like a nice fantasy to see David naked. Simon felt his cock twitch in interest. He washed his legs as his thoughts turned to David washing him instead. Simon felt himself grow harder at the thought.

He wrapped his hand around his cock, beginning to pump and letting out a soft sigh. He could just imagine David's soft hands doing this for him. His thoughts continued in this way as Simon stroked himself closer to his finish. He could imagine himself dating David. Of David taking him in bed, although he wasn't sure of how David would be in bed or if David even wanted Simon in that way. Simon moaned out David's name softly as he came, streaming out of his cock in a short burst. Simon heard his phone begin to ring as he came down from the high of his wank. He quickly transferred out of the shower and turned it off.

He accepted the call and put it on speaker phone. He did feel that spark of electricity whenever he touched David's hand. He felt joy every time that he texted or spoke with David either in person or on a phone call. Maybe Amanda was right about him having romantic feelings for David. He would need to talk to David about it. He would ask David tomorrow if he held the same feelings for him.

"Hi, David. You're calling instead of texting me?" Simon asked. He wrapped a towel around his waist the best he could and started to dry off.

"Hi, Simon. I hope I'm not catching you at a bad time," David spoke. "Are you getting ready for bed?"

"Yeah, I am," Simon responded. He wheeled into his bedroom with his phone in his lap. "Why are you calling?"

"I just wanted to hear your voice. We weren't able to chat today like we normally do," David responded. David blushed as he spoke to Simon over the phone. Maybe Alesha was right that he had romantic feelings for Simon if he loved hearing Simon's voice.

"I was busy during my prep period," Simon explained, pulling on a white shirt as he chatted to David. "I've got something that I want to ask you tomorrow, in person if that's alright. I promise that it's not bad."

"Sure," David responded. "We could always talk about it over the phone right now though."

"Alright," Simon spoke. It would be alright to talk about it over the phone. It was the next best thing. "David, I think that I have romantic feelings about you. Do you have the same feelings about me?" David began to chuckle. Simon had feelings for him. David was quiet for a moment to process it. "David?"

"Yes, I do," David responded after a moment. "I have romantic feelings for you as well." He smiled. So that was what Simon wanted to talk about. They both had romantic feelings for each other! This was looking like the start of a potential relationship. "We should go on a date."

"I agree," Simon responded. "Let's not set a date tonight for a date though. Let's just talk."

And they talked for over two hours with each other.
