"I do."

"I do."

The wedding was small. It was just their friends and family in attendance. Simon had wanted to look David in the eyes while they had said their vows so he had chosen to use his standing frame wheelchair. David kissed him gently. Simon kissed him back. He didn't dare to deepen the kiss. They were being watched by their family and friends as well as their two sons.

"I love you," Simon spoke, his voice breaking a bit. He was emotional.

"I love you too," David responded. His voice was breaking as well. Simon lowered himself into a seated position. They had decided for when they went back down the aisle, David would push Simon's wheelchair. He gently pushed Simon back down the aisle, their sons trailing behind them.

Eric and Alfred had both been groomsmen for their father and had given them the rings when the time had come to exchange them. Simon had chosen a plain gold band for himself and David had chosen a gold band with leaf detailing engraved on it.

Simon looked down at his ring. He couldn't believe that he had gotten married. He had initially swore off marriage, especially after breaking up with Eric's mother. Yet here he was, married.

Simon glanced up at David. David was starting to grow a beard. It was a bit scruffy feeling whenever they kissed but Simon found that he liked it.

"I can't wait to tell people that we're married," Simon spoke, once they had entered the reception. David nodded in agreement.

Simon glanced around his classroom. He was almost finished with setting up for the new school year. He and David had gotten married two months ago, a year after they had proposed to each other. David helped him with the chairs this year and Alfred and Eric had stayed home.

Simon smiled, seeing his finished classroom. Now he could see if David needed help with anything in his classroom. He wheeled to the elevator, passing the classrooms that his friends taught in. These friends had been the ones that had been invited to the wedding. They hadn't invited many people as both David and Simon had agreed on having a small wedding. Simon was even in the process of adopting Alfred as his son.

They were planning on coming out to the rest of the teachers at the school tonight during the welcome party that the couple had gotten married. They had announced their engagement at last year's party, the second one that Simon had attended. It was almost time for the party to start. Simon arrived on the second floor. He wheeled to David's classroom.

"Hi, babe," Simon greeted, wheeling into David's classroom. "It's almost time to head down to the library."

"Hi, Si. I'm almost ready," David responded. "I'm just trying to get these last couple of book posters up and then we can head down."

"Is there anything that I can help with?" Simon asked. He had elected to use his standing frame wheelchair today due to setting up his classroom. David kissed Simon's cheek, smiling.

"I'm alright," David responded. "Thank you though. Are you ready to let everyone know that we've gotten married?"

"Yes," Simon answered. David wheeled Simon to the elevator. They were only planning on staying for about an hour or so at the party so they could spend some time with their kids before bed. They went down to the library, quickly finding their friends.

"How has married life been?" Alesha questioned. She and Amanda had wanted the two men to get together and had pushed both of them to talk to each other about their feelings for each other.

"Good. No, great actually," Simon responded. He was truly enjoying being married to David. His relationship with David had started off rocky at first after the drunken kissing they had done a couple of years prior but it had led to an actual relationship between the two of them. He couldn't believe how happy he was.
