Roseline: Alice, just kill me. how can i face the boss.

Miss Benson: i cant believe you did that. insulting the boss infront of him without any idea of his identity.

Roseline: what should i do?

Miss Benson: just apologize. if it does not work, then bribe him with that custard flavour.

Roseline: you are right. i will definitely get that for him. this is lunch time, is the boss not coming to the office today?

Miss Benson: speaking of the devil, he is the one calling. ( call answered). greeting Sir.

Maxwell: go to my office, you will see a red and a blue file. bring the two files to my resident.

Miss Benson: right now?

Maxwell: i am in my family resident now. let say in about 2 hours i shall be in my resident. bring the files then. i will forward you the address.

Miss Benson: al.....
( the call ended) he did not even let me complete the word alright Sir.

Roseline: what did he say?

miss Benson: he asked me to get a file for him to his place.

Roseline: he is not coming to the office then.

Miss Benson: i think so.

Roseline: please let me take the files to him?

Miss Benson: now i know you hate me. do you want me to loose my job?

Roseline: i will let him know that you have a running stomach.

Miss Benson: but i don't.

Roseline: but he wont know that you don't.

Miss Benson: ( smiles). alright. it is settled then.

2 hours later...
at Maxwell resident...

security: who are you?

Roseline: i am the one the boss is expecting.

security: the receptionist?

Roseline: so the boss don't know miss Benson by name. (she murmured to herself). yes, i am.

( gate opened and closed. bell rings. door opened).

Maxwell: you..... what are you doing here?

Roseline: i brought the files, Sir.

Maxwell: did i ask you to bring the files?

Roseline: miss Benson had a running stomach so i volunteer to hell her out.

( he collected the files from her and shut the door behind her).

( as she was about leaving, it began to rain).

not now. please rain.

(Maxwell was thinking to let her in or not due to the heavy rain. at last, he made up his mind and opened the door for her to come in. but at that time she was already cold).

thanks. She said.

( he went inside and came out with a blanket and gave it to her).

Maxwell: cover your self with it, i don't want you to die here.
Roseline: thank you.

( he went to the kitchen, made coffee for two. took one and gave the other one to her.

he then started working on the files. by the time he was done, it was already midnight and was still raining.

he raised his head up and saw her sleeping. he sigh. closed his laptop head over to her side, carried her and lay her down in the visitor's room. covered her with blanket, off the light and left.

Roseline woke up the following day, looked at her surroundings then realized it was the boss resident. she got up quicky and noticed a change in her dress.

she did not remember getting changed. her cloth was no where to b found. she left the room).

Sophia: brother, your cooking is the best.
Maxwell: better stop talking and eat.

Sophia: that reminds me, did you not go to work yesterday because you wanted to avoid your....what! Rose! you...i mean, you are here, with a night gown? brother, did i.....

( he cut her short).
maxwell: you missed nothing, nothing happened.

Roseline: good morning Sophia, good morning boss. my clo...
( a maid brought her cloth to her) thank you, miss.

Maxwell: it has been washed.
Roseline: o, thanks.
Sophia: come sit and eat.

Roseline: let me quickly go change.
( she ran off to change).
so..... brother, you dont hate her anymore?

Maxwell: i never did
Sophia: what?! brother, you are saying that now?

Maxwell: come and start going.
you are disturbing my peace.
( Sophia angrily left his resident).

Roseline: what of So...

maxwell: eat up and leave

Roseline: no worries, i will b...
