Mr Smith: come in please

( the Johnson's family walked inside)

Mr Johnson: nice house you got

Mr Smith: thanks. these are your childre.....wait a minute. Miss Johnson

Roseline: one and only Sir.

Mr Smith: wao. what a small world

Mr Johnson: you two know each other?

Roseline: yes Dad, he is my boss's father

Raphael: what! that jerk?

Mrs Johnson: where are your manners

Mr Smith: is ok. and yes. I am the jerk Father

Sophia: Rose!

Roseline: hi Sophia

Sophia: good evening Sir, good evening Ma,

Mr Johnson: wao, she is a big woman now

Mrs Johnson: and beautiful

Mrs Smith: ELO everyone, you are all welcome. come have a sit

( everyone sat down)

Mr Smith: Sophia, as Maxwell arrived yet?

Sophia: No Dad

Mr Smith: this son of mine

Mr Johnson: just give him time, he might be busy.

Mr Smith: (sighs)

Sophia: Rose, let's go to my room and chat

Roseline: alright

( they walked to the room. Roseline sigh).

the thought of my boss coming is killing me.

if I knew we were having dinner with my boss family I won't have come.

Sophia: I never knew too. I was shocked to see you

Roseline: I just hope he doesn't come

Mrs Smith: Sophia, Your brother has just arrived. and dinner is set.

Sophia: coming Mother

Roseline: (sighs). I am dead

Sophia:( laughing) because of my brother?. come on, he won't do anything to you.

( they both walked out of the room to the dinning table.

on seeing Roseline coming down the stairs, Maxwell was speechless, he was shocked to see how beautiful she was).

Sophia: brother, you better close your mouth before fly enters inside it

( everyone laughed except for Roseline whom was lost in thought. Maxwell came back to his senses).

Roseline: good evening boss
( Maxwell nodded his head)

Mrs Smith: let's start digging it everyone

( as they were eating, Maxwell kept on looking at Roseline from the side.

Roseline who was sitting close to him was feeling uncomfortable).

(door opened and closed)

Bianca: good evening everyone
( all turn around )

Mrs Smith: Bianca!

Bianca: good evening Ma

Maxwell: who let her in? ( he dialed the security number... report immediately, he said)

Bianca: Maxwell I'm sorry. I know I have hurt you. please let's forget the passed.

I  came for us to start afresh again Maxwell.

Maxwell: you must be crazy. do I look like someone that want to start afresh?

Sophia: why is the security not here yet

Bianca: I know you still think of me that's why you are still single. please Maxwell, forgive me. I still love you

Maxwell: well, I don't. get out before the security come push you out. and besides who told you that I am single

( everyone turn to look at him)

Sophia: you are not?

Mr and Mrs Smith: you found someone, who is she?

Raphael: yes tell us the unlucky person

( Maxwell cleared his throat, looking at Roseline. everyone turn their eyes to her and shouted unison. Roseline?)

(Roseline who was minding her business eating and praying for all this drama to be over, choked on her food).

Maxwell: ( holding Roseline hands he said). Roseline and I started dating recently. I was planning on telling you all on my birthday.

(Roseline coughing seriously)

Mrs Smith: drink water child

(Maxwell gave her the water to drink. feeling better?  Roseline looked at him and nodded.)

Bianca: he is lying.

Mr Smith: why would he lie

Bianca: he loves me

Mrs Smith: enough. he has someone now. so quietly get out

security: Sir

Mr Smith: take her out and do not let her in again or you loose your job

( the security carried her out )

Mr Smith: sorry everyone

Mr Johnson: no problem

Raphael: so Sis, when were you planning to tell me?

Sophia: Brother, you kept this from me. not fair.

( Roseline was speechless the whole time).

Mrs Johnson: we should be expecting wedding soon right?

Mrs Smith: of course yes

( Mrs Smith calls in the maid to help take Maxwell and Roseline food to the garden)

Roseline: I am ok here

Raphael: you hardly toughed you food after we discovered your little secrete

( the maid took their food to the garden. Maxwell held Roseline hand and walked towards the garden).

Roseline: why did you lie to them. you don't even like me

Maxwell: I am sorry I had to lie a little

Roseline: you called this a little? look at where it has landed us.

Maxwell: are you not happy to be my girlfriend? others will jump for joy

Roseline: I am not others. please, tell your family that it was all a....

Maxwell: you look pretty

Roseline: what! seriously!

Maxwell: I am not lying. you actually look pretty.

Roseline: Sir, this is not what we are talk....

Maxwell: since we are dating now, start calling me by my name.

Roseline: we are not dating

Maxwell: eat before it get cold
