at Smith company

Maxwell: Miss.......

( looking at her name tag, he said). Miss  Benson, when my PA gets here, tell her to see me.

Miss Benson: alright Sir. Sir your fa.....

( he walked out and into his office).

I just wanted to inform you  that your father is around.( She murmured to her self ).

Maxwell: Dad, you are here?
Mr Smith: should I not be here?

Maxwell: (sighs). Dad, why did you not inform me before coming, what if I did not come in time or at all.

Mr Smith: but u came. by the way, I did not see your PA on my way to your office.

Maxwell: that PA loves coming late. Dad, you got a useless PA for me. just know that.

Roseline: Alice please tell me the boss is not yet in the office.

Miss Benson: what happened? anyway, go quickly, he wants to see you.

Roseline: what should I do now. let me go quickly.

( she walked away and went to the boss's office. she was about to knock when she heard voices inside).

Mr Smith: I have told you to stop calling her names

Maxwell: Dad, did you know that she has been telling Melody things about me?

imagine her saying I am a monster, a jerk. even in my presence she insulted me.

Mr Smith: Son, she wasn't aware of your identity and besides you started it. your sister explained everything to me.

How are you sure others don't call you that? don't be rude to your workers, smile when the need arises, ask how they are. with that, the negative names will stop.

Maxwell: I don't need a PA Dad, just allow me to let her go.

Mr Smith: not under my watch.
(a knock at the door)

Maxwell: come in
Roseline: good mor.....

Maxwell: what is good about it. is this the time for you to be coming to work, or you think you own the company.

Roseline: sor....
Maxwell: silent. you talk when you....

Mr Smith: enough. is this how you talk to them? let me take it from here.

Miss Johnson, you are aware that your are late, correct?

Roseline: yes Sir

Mr Smith: explain

Roseline: Sir, the boss gave me work to do yesterday Sunday night at around 10:45pm.

he asked me to finish it and submit it the next day. that made me woke up late.

Mr Smith: let me see the work

( she handed it to him. after looking at it, he turned to his Son).

Son, why giving her what I have worked on before handling the company to you? are you trying to punish her?

Maxwell: like I said before Dad, I don't need her as my PA.

Mr Smith: Child, you can go back to your office. don't let what he said bother you.

Roseline: thanks Sir

( she walked out from there).

Mr Smith: either you change your ways or I look for a woman for you to settle down with.

Maxwell: what! Dad, you must be joking

Mr Smith: you want to bet?

Maxwell: why are you here Dad

Mr Smith: just came to see how the company's doing.
