As they sat in Tails' workshop, basking in the relief of Sonic's return, Amy suddenly gasped, her eyes lighting up with excitement. "I have the best idea ever," she exclaimed. "Let's have a sleepover!"

"Sure, why not," Sonic replied with a forced smile, masking his reluctance. Deep down, he knew he needed rest, but seeing the hopeful looks on his friend's faces, he couldn't bring himself to disappoint them.

Tails nodded eagerly, his enthusiasm matching Amy's. "It's been a while since we've all hung out together. A sleepover sounds perfect."

Knuckles chuckled, already envisioning the evening ahead. "As long as no one stays up all night challenging me to arm-wrestling contests, count me in."

Rouge smirked, playfully nudging Knuckles. "We'll see about that. But seriously, a sleepover sounds like just what we need after everything that's happened."

With their plans set, the group began discussing the details of their sleepover, excitement building as they looked forward to a night filled with laughter, bonding, and cherished memories.

As the group walked towards Amy's house, the air was filled with chatter and laughter, the tension of earlier moments dissipating in the warmth of their friendship. But amidst the cheerful banter, Sonic remained lost in his thoughts, the weight of his secret pressing down on him like a leaden shroud.

Unaware of his inner turmoil, Amy caught his distant expression and nudged Rouge with a knowing glance. Rouge followed her gaze, her eyes narrowing with concern as she observed Sonic's uncharacteristic demeanor. They exchanged a silent understanding, their worry growing with each step they took.

Finally arriving at Amy's home, the group stepped inside, the cozy atmosphere a stark contrast to the turmoil brewing within Sonic. As they settled in for the sleepover, Sonic's mind drifted back to the dark secret he harbored, a shadow looming over the light-hearted gathering.

Despite the joviality of their surroundings, Sonic couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at the edges of his consciousness. With each passing moment, the weight of his guilt threatened to overwhelm him, casting a pall over the once-joyful occasion.

As the night wore on, Sonic remained lost in his thoughts, his friends oblivious to the turmoil raging within him. And as sleep claimed them one by one, Sonic was left alone with his secrets, the darkness of his conscience a silent reminder of the price he had paid for his impulsive actions.

The next day dawned bright and clear, but the tranquility was shattered by Sonic's sudden outburst, his voice echoing through the house with a raw intensity that startled his friends from their slumber.

Amy's eyes flew open at the sound, concern etched upon her features as she rushed to Sonic's side. "Oh dear, what's wrong?" she asked, her voice filled with worry.

Sonic's chest heaved with each ragged breath, his hands trembling as he struggled to compose himself. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "I... I just had a nightmare."

Without waiting for a response, he slipped out of the room, the weight of his guilt heavy on his shoulders.  For worrying his friends, since sonic really hated showing his feeling.

As Sonic rushed out into the cool morning air, his friends exchanged worried glances, their hearts heavy with concern for their troubled comrade. Tails' voice rang out, filled with urgency:"Sonic WAIT."but Sonic's speed was unmatched, and he disappeared from view before anyone could catch him.

"I think we should leave him alone for a while," Knuckles suggested, his tone solemn as he watched Sonic's retreating figure. His friends nodded in silent agreement, understanding that sometimes space and solitude were the best remedies for a troubled soul.
