here's noise. There is a lot of noise. My head is throbbing. As I open my eyes, the light blinds me. Someone beside me runs to the doctor, yelling, "Doctor Zach, Mr. Peter is awake!" I try to focus on the voices around me, but my head is still spinning. I feel a hand on my shoulder, reassuring me that I am safe.

Why am I at the hospital? My memory is fuzzy, but I remember what happened. I remember everything that happened. Fiona happened. She came to my office at midnight. She said something about the plan for the future and realizing what she deserves. Then, as I remember it correctly, she stabbed me. 7 times? No. 8 times. I remember the weapon she used. A dagger is beautifully designed. A blue stone is in the middle, glinting in the dim light. I try to piece together what led to this moment, but the details are still hazy. Fiona's face flashes in my mind, her eyes filled with anger and something else. A hint of satisfaction.

My daughter tried to assassinate me. She planned to kill me. She probably does have a thorn in her path to power. I never thought she was capable of such betrayal. Was it my ambition that drove her to this extreme? Probably.

But hey, at least now I can take over the position as successor once again. Luck was on my side. Is on my side. A puny kid like her won't be able to defeat me. I will make sure of that. My reign will continue unchallenged.

Zach walks in and checks on me. "Are you alright, uncle? Can you hear me? Blink twice if you can." Zach says this with concern in his voice. Which I bet is fake. I give him a weak smile and blink twice, assuring him that I am fine.

"Where am I?" I ask. My voice is hoarse and weak. Zach hesitates before answering, "You're in the hospital, uncle. You just woke up from a coma."

"I know I'm at the damn hospital. But which hospital?" I demand. Zach looks taken aback before responding, "You're at Solomon General Hospital. Do you remember what happened?"

Ah, so I'm at the hospital where Zachary works. No wonder he's my doctor. I nodded my head. How could I forget? I almost lost my life. "I remember," I say, my voice barely above a whisper.

Zach looks at me with concern, his eyes filled with worry. "You're lucky to be alive," he says softly.

"Was I in a coma for long?" I ask, feeling a sense of disorientation.

Zach hesitates before replying, "You were in a coma for a month. I can't say the exact duration of your coma, but we were able to stabilize you and bring you back." I feel waves of relief wash over me, grateful for the luck by my side.

"Did they arrest her?" Zach's expression darkens as he nods. "Yes, she's in custody now." I let out a sigh of relief.

"Her trial?" Zach's jaw tightens as he responds, "It's finished; the evidence against her was strong. She was found guilty." I nod, feeling a mix of emotions, knowing that my path to power will be secure.

"Death Sentence?" Zach's eyes meet mine. "No, she was sentenced to 10 years in prison."

"Call my eldest son."

His eyes met mine. The panic is understandable. He knows what I'm planning now. It's only reasonable that I plan this. As long as this bitch is alive, I cannot be the heir in peace.

"I'll make the call," Zach says, his voice firm. I watch as he steps away to make the necessary arrangements, knowing that my future is now within reach.

My eldest son, Abaddon Solomon, entered the room. He was wearing a black suit and had a stern expression. "Father, what is the meaning of this urgency?" he asks, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. I take a deep breath, ready to reveal my plan to ensure our family's legacy remains intact.

"Do you remember the way you terminated that girlfriend of yours? While she was in prison. And blamed it on some hate crime?"

Abaddon's eyes widen as he recalls the incident. "She wasn't my lover after what she did, but yes, I remember," he replies slowly. "What does that have to do with our family's legacy?"

I pause, choosing my words carefully. "Your sister. Terminate her. Pay whatever amount you have to pay. I want her dead. That girl has been a thorn in my side since she was born. Make sure she dies within two days."

Abaddon's expression darkens, but he nods in understanding. "Consider it done," he says firmly.

I hope to hear the news of her death soon. The thought of finally being rid of her brings a sense of relief that I can't quite contain.
