Crimson Stained Marriage

" I want to marry her! " He says.

I gave no reaction to those words. Instead an argument about something else is going on inside my head right now.

" Will I just let these people go this easily, after the sins they had committed today? "

" What else am I capable of anyway. "

" Will I just let these monsters rule this kingdom? "

" What can I do anyway! "

" Will I just let this overwhelming fear & helplessness stop me from giving these people who were killed this cruelly today, the justice? "

" You couldn't do anything. You're weak afterall. "

I look up at both of them. Listening to his son's words, the king turns his head to him with a questioning gaze.

His son gives a slight nod. And something both of them conversed through their eyes that I couldn't understand at all. Before the huge silver gold sword has finally removed from above me.

The king lowers back down his sword in a fast movement so the blood sliding & dripping from it falls off completely. Blood drops falls splattered on the ground.

I felt scared. I'm feeling so scared right now. But an another emotion is surging up inside me too. The fear & shock that I felt earlier froze me but this burning emotion is provoking me to do something. To not let this cruel crime go unpunished.

These heartless monsters are needed to be punished for their sins. And this rage boiling inside me is telling me that I am their punishment.

" Get up! " the king orders me.

Slowly, I get back on my feet. My face clearly showed my anger & I didn't even tried to hide it.

Me and that man, the Prince of Asterin, whose name I didn't even know, stood infront of each other in the middle of the highland. We both stared at each other. My stare was intense while his was calm and dark.

" Take the vows! " I heard the Devil King speak standing between us.

Now it's my turn to vow. " I, Yn, the Princess of Riveryn, vows to never ever leave your side.. until death do us apart. " I tried to make it very clear through my gaze, that the death is me.

" Pull out any ring from her father's hand! " I hear Asterin's King order to someone.

After few seconds, a man comes to me and forwards the silver shining ring with beads of diamonds decorated on it. I take the ring from him walk three steps forward to closer the gap. He does the same.
