This LOVE

After we bid happy farewell to Kira and her family, three of us resumed our stroll across the festive-air-filled Port city.

I was absolutely impressed by three of us for making not even a single person recognize our official identities. But I guess, the festival also played its part in it though. A huge part to be precise.

I stood at the doorway leading to the large balcony covering almost half of a normal room's size under it. Two five-feet wide roof, supported by identical pillars were built with the same measured distance between them.

The two roofs ran parallel to each other on both the opposite boundaries. But the one side that's opposite to the entrance where I'm standing was left without a roof, open, with thick & broad balustrade that goes above normal human's waistline, built for safety. It serves the breathtaking view of Asterin.

A garden has been built in the rest of the remaining spaces along with a water fountain in the middle that only boosted its beauty.

I could see over the garden, the night view of the Kingdom. The soothing cold breeze was constantly colliding against my standing figure. I was waiting for Jungkook. He said, he has some paperworks to complete and some topics to discuss with Shin who's now the ministry of welfare that's one of the highest position among the court's ministers. Infact not only Shin, many students of master, the members of assassin group including the master himself were greatly supported by people and were elected and given their respective positions according their abilities.

Master has been given the position of the chief advisor of both of us. He was ready to part ways from us once Jungkook and I successfully succeeded the throne but both of us persistently kept requesting master to change his mind to which he finally did accepted the position.

It wasn't just about that position. Both of us needed someone like him, who knew both of us so closely, to be around and guide us. Afterall we are still so young to be the King and Queen of Asterin.

I inhale the fresh air into my lungs before i exhale them out heavily thinking of all the series of events that had happened that led all of us to where we're now.

And I could only conclude one opinion.. ' Life is unpredictable and that one needs to be strong enough to face the cards it throws at you & move ahead with it. '

I almost elbowed the person who stood behind me instinctively when I felt two strong yet gentle arms wrapped around me from behind. But then something occurred to me, I remembered, the only person who's footsteps I couldn't detect at all is Jungkook.

He brings his face to the side of my face and inhales me like I'm his favorite flower. Like it's the scent that could turn his tiredness and worries into calmness and joy. I'm grateful to him for giving me that privilege.

He kisses me just below my right ear creating millions of butterflies inside my stomach, making my heart explode. It's just a kiss. But it wasn't just a kiss.

" I told you not to wait and rest. Aren't you tired? " his voice comes hoarse as he speaks those words against my skin, his head buried in the crook of my neck.

" Not really. " I answer with my eyes slowly closing shut with the tingling sensation I felt where his breath constantly fanned my skin on the neck.

So many butterflies. Too much.

My lips falls apart uncontrollably, unconsciously when I felt him kissing my neck, sucking on my skin softly. A wave of goosebumps passes over my whole body.

My legs clench as my knees felt weak. My whole body felt weak. Weak infront of him. Weak to his simple touch. I've never felt this weak in my whole life, never when I was confined here in this very room, never when I was bought here without my will, never when I was powerless, not even then, when I was a naive, innocent princess of Riveryn who lived in a bubble that her parents had created for her.
