Part 16

Myungsoo POV

Having Phoebe here has made the past few weeks the best time ever and tonight will be even better. I have already talked to her brother and asked if I could propose after the contest winners are announced. "I'm so glad he said yes" I grinned from ear to ear after picking up the ring from the store. "I hope she likes it."

"Where have you been?" Sunggyu screamed as I walked into the dorm.

"I just had to go pick up something" I replied. "Why? What's going on?"

"Look" he said as he shoved his phone at me.

I looked down and saw an article about me and Phoebe. "Is Myungsoo next?" I read out the title.

"What is going on?" he asked.

"I don't know" I shook my head as I handed him his phone back. "I've been careful when we go out, but the fans always recognize me anyways. They haven't asked about Phoebe and I haven't said a word about it."

He rubbed his head in frustration. "Well, it looks like they figured it out anyways."

"What do we do?" I asked nervously.

Suddenly my phone started ringing. I looked down and gasped "It's the boss." I quickly answered and put the call on speakerphone so Sunggyu could hear as well. "Hello."

"I saw the article" he started and my chest tightened. "and the response doesn't look bad."

"Huh?" both Sunggyu and I were shocked by his statement.

"Yeah" he chuckled. "Looks like most of the fans are supporting you and defending you against malicious comments. If you really are dating this girl, I think it would be okay to go public with your relationship if you decide you want to."

I was at a loss for words. "Are you sure?" I nervously asked. "Sunggyu's and Woohyun's relationships were only recently announced. I wouldn't want to shock the fans more."

Suddenly he started laughing "So it's true? You're dating her?"

"Yeah" I shyly replied.

"As I said before, the fans are supporting you. I have no complaints. Do you want the company to issue a statement?"

"Not yet" I replied a little to loudly, surprising Sunggyu a bit. "I want to check with her first."

"No problem" he chuckled. "I'll inform the PR team to prepare a statement, but not to release it just yet. Is there anything you are going to want to add to the dating announcement?"

"Um, yeah" I shyly replied. "I plan to propose tonight, so it might turn out to be an engagement announcement."

"Okay then!" he replied excitedly. "Keep me informed of what happens and we will have announcements planned for whatever the outcome is."

Phoebe POV

"I'm so nervous" I said as I paced back and forth.

"Relax" Angela said as she stood in front of me. "Everything is going to be alright."

"But the article"

"Stop" Angela interrupted me. "Don't worry about that stupid article. Besides" she smiled, "it looks as though the reaction is positive. The fans are supporting your relationship."

I sighed as I collapsed on the couch. "What if Myungsoo gets in trouble over this?"

"Stop worrying about the things you can't change. The article has already been released. The company will decide what type of statement they will release once they talk with Myungsoo." She grabbed my hands and pulled me up "You don't have time to be fretting over this."

"Huh?" I was confused.

"You have an awards ceremony to prepare for" she smiled and dragged me out of the apartment.

"Where are we going?"

"I booked an appointment for you at a great boutique. We have to find you an amazing dress. Then we are going to the company and have the stylists do your hair and make-up" she giggled. "This is going to be so exciting!"

I couldn't help but smile along with her. It really would be nice to dress up. "Yeah."

We had been in the boutique for almost 2 hours having me try on dresses. "Hurry up!" Angela called out to me as I was changing into yet another dress.

"Hold on! I'm almost ready!" I called back out to her from the changing room.

"I can't believe how long this is taking" Rose commented. "I thought you guys would be done by now. I didn't think I'd have to come and track you down."

"We can't find anything that suits her" Angela complained.

"I can see that" Rose agreed. "Why is it so hard to find a nice dress? Phoebe has a great figure, I can't believe there wasn't a single dress that looked right on her so far."

I could hear how disappointed they were from inside the changing room. I thought all the dresses were nice and I could have probably worn any of them. I really didn't care, but they were insistent upon finding the perfect dress. I finished putting on their latest choice, looked at myself in the mirror and blushed.

"Hurry up!" Rose and Angela screamed together and it snapped me back to my senses.

I made my way out and asked "What do you think?"

Rose and Angela turned to look at me and froze. Then Rose started pushing Angela "Go pay, now!" Then she turned to me and said "Grab your things."

"I have to change" I started, but was immediately interrupted.

"No you don't" Rose cut in. "That is the one. Angela is paying now. Grab your things."

I quickly returned to the dressing room and grabbed my stuff. Angela came over with a bag and said "Put them in here."

I did as they said and then they grabbed me by the arm "Thank you!" I shouted as they dragged me from the boutique and pushed me into the waiting car.

"To the company" Rose instructed the driver.

"Quickly" Angela added.

It didn't take long before we were at Woollim Entertainment's building. They grabbed me by the arms and dragged me inside. I couldn't help but smile as they rushed me through the building to our destination.

"Here she is" Rose called out to the stylists as they pushed me to sit in the chair.

"I know we don't have a lot of time" Angela apologized. "I'm sorry it took so long to pick a dress."

"No worries" the stylists smiled at her. "You go sit and relax in the other room. We will make her beautiful."

"Thanks" Angela and Rose sighed as they left the room.

Then the stylist turned to me and said "Let's get to work."
